very polite and friendly staff. They have very good pizza and lots of customizable toppings. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I see all these great reviews? The pizza used to be good but now, I don’t know. The thin crust to me tasted like an over done tortilla? Not the old hand spun pizza dough I once remembered? The staff are very friendly though. I think the owners are cheaping out fast food style! Too bad.

Nice pizza joint, you can see all the action happening through the large kitchen windows. Comfy space, you can pick a booth, seats by the fireplace, or by the window. Free parking at the rear! They have a nice pizza selection(or you can create your own!), fresh salads(with yummy garlic bread). For lunch, they have a lunch menu with combos of pizza+soup or salad, for example. They are smaller size pizzas. Ask about the soup of the day, and if it happens to be Thai, you just have to try it! It’s really flavorful and delicious! ! I wish it was a regular in their menu!

Thin crust pizza for the win! Oh my god, I don’t think I’ve ever had better pizza than this! I have been living in this area for 12 years, and I can’t believe that it’s my first time here! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I got takeouts, and the waitress offered me free pop while I wait. How nice is that? The pizza tastes amazingly fresh, with lots of toppings and super crispy crust. If you haven’t tried this place yet please give it a try!

Me-N-Ed’s pizza — you are SOGOOD. I haven’t been to Me-N-Ed’s in years and I can’t reason with myself why I haven’t been back lately. We were flipping through our Entertainment Book to find someplace to grab some dinner, remembered about Me-n-Ed’s and decided to pay this location a visit. Big score for a 50% off pizza with Entertainment Book coupon! Plenty of parking spaces available out back as street parking is not available on this stretch of Austin. We were greeted pretty quickly at the door and were welcome to sit anywhere we liked. We decided to get an order of nachos and a large smoked salmon pizza. The nachos were average, but the good type of average. Jalapeño peppers, cheese, diced tomatoes, sliced olives, and green onions with a side of sour cream and salsa. The smoked salmon pizza definitely did not disappoint. It was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time. I love thin crust pizza and this place just does it right! I forgot how good their food is. This pizza was loaded with all this good stuff like smoked salmon, capers, diced tomatoes, red onion, feta cheese, and dill. Their crust is especially good sprinkled with cheddar and you can taste the seasoned crust with spices. Great service was received as our server was nice, young, smiley, and checked up on us as appropriate. Definitely will be back soon.

After being away from BC for 20 years, it’s nice to enjoy the thin and crispy crust of a Me N Ed’s pizza; brings back childhood memories!

I remember coming here as a kid with my choir group and for some reason. I wasn’t a fan. Granted this was when I was 10 so the time gap has been a good 17 years. Anyhow, my guy has a legit wheat allergy and we were looking to find a gluten free pizza joint this Saturday evening. I remembered that someone had mentioned Me n Ed’s has a gluten free option so we decided to give it a try. We both had a late evening so we ordered for take out as we were both too tired to sit at a resto. Called in at around 8PMish, service host was friendly and was told it would be ready within 20 – 30 minutes. I will say though, when he told us the price(~$ 50) I was a little stunned. For 1 medium 2 topping pizza, 1 personal sized gluten free pizza and a dozen wings. it seemed a bit steep. I mean I get it, we had a gluten free item but it just seemed aggressive. But whatever, we didn’t really care at this point as we were starving and we needed a GFPIE! 1, 2 topping pizza(Ham and Pineapple) 1, Godfather pizza 1 dozen honey garlic wings So we went ahead and picked it up around 8:40PM. Upon arriving, I was surprised by the amount of people eating in! It was over half full at 8:40PM! Good sign, good sign. We walked up to the counter and we picked up our food which was already ready for us. YAY! We rushed home and cracked opened the pizzas. WOW! Talk about surprise after surprise! Our pizzas were loaded with ingredients(YES! I LOVEHAM!!!) and it didn’t look(or taste) greasy or soggy. Our pizza was perfectly baked and the crust was DELICIOUS! Super thin and crunchy. YUMYUMYUM!!! Next was the wings and I was impressed. Unlike some other pizza joints and their dry as hell wings. I was happy to find plump and juicy wings. To me, it didn’t taste frozen(or maybe they are. I couldn’t tell) but it just tasted good. For $ 50, it is steep but it is worth the price for deliciousness. COMINGBACK, NEVERLOOKINGBACK(That’s you Pizza Hut).

The pizza is exceptional here! I love the thinness of the crust and the generosity with the toppings. The atmosphere is very relaxing as it is usually pretty quiet when I come. One thing I have to point out is the exceptional service that always impresses me. The servers are always friendly and frequently come to replenish your drink. If you like smoked salmon, I recommend the smoked salmon and roasted garlic pizza; you seriously can’t go wrong, it’s smoked salmon on pizza! If you’re a bit skeptical, try it on Sampler Saturday(2 small pizzas for $ 25.75).

I really like this place. The pizza is excellent. I especially like the thin crust. So light and airy and you don’t feel like you’ve overeaten after visiting. I’ve tried about 10 varieties of pizza here and haven’t been disappointed yet. Staff are attentive and on-the ball. Even when you get takeout, they offer you a pop while you’re waiting. These guys even know how to make your waiting for pickup experience enjoyable. The pizza is a little pricey but it’s also so much better than many other places. I still pay up so that says a lot about this place. One last thing, their crust is so good that when you re-heat it, it’s even better tasting and still just as crispy.

I came here with 8 teenage boys, ordered 5XL pizzas and they gobbled them up! The pizzas were fantastic if you like a thin crust style pizza. They’re not so thin that it feels like you’re munching on a cracker, but just right. My favorite was the Asiago and Meat lovers pizza. You can ask them to make the pizza look just like the photos :-)

First time ordering Me-n-Eds tonight. All seemed good until they showed up with only ¾ of the order. The pizzas themselves were good and fresh, looked appealing, and the perogy pizza was the best of the bunch. But, due to them having to go back for the lasagna, and the extra 20 minutes of sitting it had, it’s was simply terrible. And for the price this restaurant charges, which is as much as a nice Italian restaurant, I expect better. After a mistake such as that, either make it fresh and deliver it hot, or simply deduct it off the bill. I’m surprised(and disappointed) they even served it. Needless, we won’t be rushing back, and don’t recommend you do either.

We met up with friends for dinner here last night. I’ve never been here even though I passed by it so many times. This location has been around forever(as long as I can remember). The pizza was delicious. We got the meat lover and it was topped generous amount of meat and the crust was nice and thin, just the way I like it. I love the idea of a pizzeria as well. Fun, casual and relaxing. No pretentious servers here either. It is pretty expensive pizza though. We ordered a large pizza and with no drinks and the bill came to $ 35.00 with tax and tip included. The prices are little too much for dining here regularly here but they have great pizza here and I think I will be back if I am ever in this hood again.

Meh. That’s all I have to say about this place, really. The good: –Hot wings were great. They came with a couple pieces of celery in a paper bag which was… weird, but good I guess. It was fresh at least. –The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. The mediocre: The pizza was alright. I’ve had better pizza at some of the cheap-o 2for1 places. The bad: The price. Considerably more expensive than what I would usually pay for pizza and it didn’t seem to be worth it. The wings were delicious so maybe the so-so pizza was just a fluke. Maybe I’ll order from them again.

Been here twice so it’s time to rate the slice(yeah, I actually think I’m pretty awesome for the rhyming). It’s a good pizza parlour, not a greasy chain-type one like the hut or panago, and everyone I know says they have the best crust ever. I’m a bit more picky on my crust, since I prefer homemade, but they do a good pizza, have a really affordable lunch menu, and generally good service. Win.

30yrs ago, I lived 1 block away from it, back then they used yellow painted vega’s with ovens inside them to deliver the pizza’s hot… I always walked to the restaurant for pickup, the pizza would just be on a cardboard circle and wrapped in foil, they now has corrollas to deliver the pizza and have actual pizza boxes. I moved away but for the last 15yrs get to eat a large pepperoni at least 10x a yr as my work takes me thru, sadly they know me by name… I used to think it was a local joint, but then my weekly trips to California told me otherwise. Its the only pizza worth eating in North America.

I took the bus out to Austin Avenue because I heard someone throw Me-N-Ed’s name in the hat as the best pizza in Vancouver. I also secretly hoped that maybe it could be a covert landing craft of Neapoletan-style thin-crust pizza from planet Italy. I think this Me-n-Ed’s location is newer than the others, which Unilocal says are«old school» and worn-in. That’s the idea with the décor here too. There’s a handful of old-timey nostalgia scattered on the walls, and the red wallpaper, fake fireplace and wooden booths make the place feel warm, even if it’s too polished to pull off«old school». This location is a large room with booths and tables and place to wait for take-out. At 7PM on a Friday the room was almost full and buzzing with young families. It’s on the loud side but the servers do a good job of keeping the noise confined to the Screaming Child section. The menu has specialty pizzas and also gives you the option to make your own, on pies from mini($ 7.45 one topping) to large($ 18.55 with one topping). The diversity is impressive: you can get the«normal» pizzas that you would expect, or if you’re in the mood Ed can throw the pantry at you and make curry pizza, BBQ chicken, greek, taco-pizza, and perogy-pizza. I had the Soprano, which is basil, tomato and bocconcini, and my buddy had the Godfather, which is pepperoni and tomato. They took 20 minutes to come after ordering. I think this is on the long side for a thin-crust pizza. Ed’s style of thin crust is unique. It’s light and flaky, woven into crispy layers with air between them. The batter tastes and smells great, and gives the pizza a satisfying crunch to it without being stiff. This crust hasn’t made first contact with Planet Neapolitan, but it has an admirable little civilization of its own. The Godfather toppings were fine, the pepperoni and tomato nothing special and mostly just salty. The Soprano was more balanced. The basil and tomato were fragrant, and offset the mild cheese well. I liked it, but I was baffled by Ed’s decision to top the pizza with the cheese slices and pizza after it had been cooked, so that when it came to me the cheese was unmelted and the tomato was cold. Eventually they warmed up but the cheese never melted all the way down and the result was more like bruschetta than I like to pay $ 20 for. The server suggested that the cheese would make the pizza soggy if it was baked. I know this isn’t true, and it’s a shame that nobody knows better on Ed’s planet. Me-n-Ed’s is too expensive for what they sell. It would be too bad if this really was the best pizza you could find in Vancouver. I hope this is not the case,(and I’m looking forward to confirming otherwise). That said, the crust, the variety, and the quality of the ingredients makes Ed’s worth trying, and it’s a nice place to sit and eat if you’re in the area.
