Ruffage Sandwchs

I love their sandwiches. This is where I go to when I’m at this mall. It’s a healthier alternative to every other eatery in the food court. However, I do have an issue with one particular employee after especially after yesterday. She has made my meal a few times and I will mention one and another of someone else’s lunch she made. First with my sandwich. When I got to the counter, she was dragging and lifting boxes on the floor. She noticed I was there and she came to me to take my order… WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS!!! Now everyone else that has assisted me there in the past ALWAYS washes their hands after handling other foods or the register. But not this one! I was so shocked I just stood there for a moment and then asked her «weren’t you just moving all those boxes on the floor?» She replied «yes». Me, «don’t you think you should wash your hands?» She turned around and washed her hands. Then I told her what I wanted and she was doing the opposite when another co-​worker came and I then asked the co-​worker to make my lunch. I went there another time and she assisted me, again, she DIDN’T WASH HER HANDS and I had to ask her to!!! REALLY? That’s one of the first things your parents teach you when you’re young! Ugh! So this past Sunday I was there and the person in front of me had ordered a crêpe with Nutella and looked like strawberry jam. So another worker made the crêpe and had a hard time getting the Nutella out onto the crêpe. So the girl that has not washed her hands in the past assisted her and started hitting the Nutella filled spatula onto the crêpe making it splatter all over the place and then when she was trying to smear the Nutella in the middle of the crêpe… the crêpe started moving around and she held it down with the bottom of the Nutella jar! Yes! The bottom of the Nutella jar that’s probably been in boxes, the bottom of the cabinets, etc! I’m not a crêpe expert because I don’t like them but I sure know that’s not how they’re made! Couldn’t she had gotten another kitchen utensil to hold the moving crêpe instead of the bottom of the Nutella jar??? That would have NOT been ok with me. The customer that bought this didn’t see any of it because she was at the register but I’m sure if she saw what I was witnessing she would have cringed. As much as I like their sandwiches, if this person is working there I’m going to pass. She seems to work on the weekends. She’s tall and a bigger person with greasy short hair that’s grown out and unkept.
MANAGEMENT, you need to have a talk with her about cleanliness and how to serve your customers!

Love the fresh sandwich. HATE that they don’t wear gloves. I am so disturbed by this that i have taken time to write this review in hopes that the manager sees this. SMARTEN UP!
