Very disrespectful staff at the front cash, I went in today and they made me feel like dirt. If I ever step foot in there again I’m only going to go to the cash at the overhead door because they treat me like a human being.

This place is absolutely horrible on the weekends for customer service. I get everything from eye rolls to outright rudeness when you ask any of the young «out the night before barflies» anything at all. The girl over at the contractor checkout was especially rude. Couldn’t believe her attitude. I only go to this place because it is close and I do like the fact that it’s Canadian owned, albeit by the Irvings. Anyways I have been going there for years, but no more. I will travel out to home depot, (I don’t want to) but I am not putting up with the lousy attitudes those barflies have out there anymore. I actually went to Home depot to finish my weekend project off before they closed and the staff there was great. When the prices are so close for lumber at each store it’s the quality of the customer service that gets people in there. Kent hasn’t got it anymore.

For some reason I will always and continue to go to Kent first before any other location. Maybe it is because it is Canadian owned or maybe it is the suckers that they give out? Whatever it is I like Kent.
Walking into Kent my fist stop is the unfinished furniture section. I am looking for an armour to refinish and make look like my old one that I had as a child. Kent is the first location that I have found these at so now I am waiting and checking to see if they go on sale.
As well Kent will offer classes from everything like do it yourself projects for those «handymen» around the house to learning how to wall paper to different style of painting. I have taken some of the wood working classes and made everything from potato bins to cabinets for the walls. I like the fact that that there is not real entry level they will teach you how to do everything. Each class is prices with lesson and products, great fun with the GF. Check them out.
