This little gem is amazing. The food is fresh. And all made in house. If you want a hearty delicious wrap or sandwhich. This is the place to go. The customer service is the absolute best. And the coffee is hot and amazing. Do yourself a favour and check this place out!!!

I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about the Dill Pickle, and all of it’s staff. You’re immediately greeted with a friendly«hello» from behind the counter from one(or more!) staff! Their food options are great, hot sandwiches, wraps, salads, fries and soup are the major picks. There’s a good selection of hot drinks available as well as your standard fare of refrigerated/cold drinks as well. There are a number of other food options too, don’t let my review limit you! Everything is made fresh right when you order it, so, naturally you end up waiting a couple minutes for your meal, but staff is never far and are very happy to chat with you while you wait, and get to know their customers pretty well. The caesar salad is great, french fries are always hot and crispy, and my go-to main dish is the chicken tzatziki wrap. There’s always a home made soup of the day of one variety or another made up for a new taste experience and to help you warm up on a cold day. The Dill Pickle is a lovely bunch of people doing great things with food and I’m always happy to dine in or do take out there.

The Dill Pickle is awesome! I was a fan of their location at Scotia Square and was so excited when they opened a location near me. The food is really good, the prices are great and the customer service is amazing! The guy at the cash knew me from when I used to go to Scotia Square 3 years ago, and the woman who made my breakfast sandwich was so sweet! They know my order and if there isn’t any Irish Cream out, they make me a fresh one(even if it they close soon!). Fantastic! This is my Saturday morning go-to! If you are in the Russell Lake area, check them out!!!

Incredible wraps! I had a great lunch here. The staff were wonderful and walked me through all the options. The roasted red pepper mayo is incredible. I highly recommend as a great lunch stop.

Firstly, the attitudes of the individuals who served me are amazing! From the lady who actually made my sandwich, the man chatting with another customer who made sure he gave me a welcoming smile and greeting, to the young fellow who manned the till. All so friendly and happy — that is customer service at its finest! Keep up the amazing work! I got the roasted turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce, lettuce, tomato, and cucumber. It was delicious! It’s real roasted turkey, not deli sliced turkey and it was white meat and not dry in the least. The bread was a bit dry for my tastes, but nothing I couldn’t handle. Hubby got the ham and cheese — real cheese, not processed — with lettuce and tomato and mayo. He said it was amazing! Unbeknownst to me, at the time, my last visit to Access NS next door had me drooling over someone’s sandwich. Now I can see it came from this place and I’m sad I didn’t go there to get one before. It was always a place I wanted to try when I was near Scotia Square, but I never had a reason to go in. Had I known, The Dill Pickle WOULD have been my reason! I will definitely make the trip out there again just for another sandwich, there’s a few more i’d like to try!

This business used to be in Scotia Square but unfortunately was pushed out by the mall owners and big corporations(such as Subway and McDonalds) due to rising rent costs. They still have a business in Halifax(Barrington street now, I think), but this is the new Dartmouth location. Firstly, friendliness is what you encounter as soon as you walk through the door. They make you feel like family when you walk in and it seems very genuine. I decided to get a wrap but I didn’t know what kind because the options are a bit overwhelming(which isn’t necessarily a bad thing) so the woman recommended her three favourites all while being careful to not discount the appetizing nature of the rest of the menu. I took one of her recommendations and went with the Chicken Feta Wrap. It came with a pre-selection of veggies but they were happy to add in(or take out) any ingredient I didn’t want. My only wish is that they start offering green olives in addition to black. Otherwise, the choice of ingredients are plentiful for your wrap. While one person makes your wrap, a person who I presume to be the owner, is happy to chit chat while you’re order is being made. Again, this is a nice, friendly touch which helps the time pass by as your wrap is being made or is on the grill. The people who run the place seem genuinely nice and, perhaps more importantly, the food is top notch — exactly like how I remembered it in Scotia Square. You can eat in or take out. If you eat in, it seems as if the owners are happy to come out and chat with you as you enjoy your meal but not in an intrusive or annoying way. It genuinely feels like an experience you would have at a western European deli or a mediterranean deli. The prices are a bit high but the quality and comradery almost makes it worth it. And the inside tip I got was true — get the chicken feta wrap!
