Traditional Pizza & Donair

I ordered before at this place and the large donair plate was OK but not enough meat. I decided to try it again after some months had passed and the large donair plate was basically a plate of fries. After using a fork and knife to cut up the cheese and meat then mixing in the sauce I had about ten to twelve pieces of meat. The plate it came in is still full with fries. Definitely not worth the close to 17 dollars I paid and to top it off they took an hour and 10 mins getting it to me and I’m only a km away. Never again two times is enough for me.

I gave this place a lot of shit with my first review — I was so angry at the incident and the post-​incident experience. Since then, after a hiatus during which I refused to try it again, I decided to acquiesce to E’s request.
Holy moly! What a difference! Order fresh pizza from here! Don’t bother with the slices unless they’ve just been made.
The crust — oh god, the crust has always been my favourite thing. Those weird people who leave the crust… don’t talk to them anymore. They’re like gingers — they have no souls In fact, the last time we ordered, they had gone old school and put the ball of dough in the middle — made my frickin’ day! They’re very good at balancing the ratios of toppings to sauce to cheese and all toppings have been fresh. Prices are decent — won’t break the bank and your tummy won’t be complaining any time soon. My only real issue has been the sauce, I’m just not a huge fan of the texture or taste, but I end up dabbing most of it off. E likes it a lot though so don’t be discouraged by my preference.

Had the pizza this time. Awful. The sauce tastes like ketchup and went all the way to the end of the crust but the cheese didn’t. Wasn’t fully cooked. Crust was meh. Overall will not order again. I like frozen pizzas better than this stuff. Sorry guys.

The pizza is made with a sweet sauce, which I’m personally not a fan of, and when they cut it all the pepperoni got pushed into the cuts and the cheese ratio sucked.
The poutine was made with shitty ass frozen fries that were too fat, and and it was made with half melted mozzarella cheese [not cheese curds]
And last and definitely least was the donair panzerotti. It became clear when eating it that there was zero pride in the food. The meat was at one side of it, and the semi cold tomatoes and onion was all on the other, like at least disperse the condiments evenly.
This place can suck off.
I’d rather eat Mr Noodles.

Remember that terrible weather last sunday, when the buses and cabs were off the road and the cops were telling people to stay home and it was basically Snowmageddon?
These guys were still delivering. My hats off to em.

I have lived in this area for about 15 years now and this location has had about 6 – 7 pizza joints in this location, this is the newest version and over all its not the best around but its certainly not the worst. The pizza is pretty good thou I did not care at all for the fish and chips.

I always want to order from here because they do offer a very pocketbook-​friendly menu. But, we’re never overly impressed with our order.
The first pizza we got from here, I really liked the cheese to sauce ratio, and the flavors, but the dough was a little under cooked.
The second time, we ordered the fish and chips and chicken (breast/​leg) and chips and it was very good for a pizza joint!
The third time, I ordered their version of a margarita pizza… it was not a margarita pizza. All I could taste was Parmesan cheese.
The fourth, and last, time, we ordered the chicken platter — it came with chicken fingers, chicken nuggets, popcorn chicken and French fries. The fries were under cooked and it was so obvious that the chicken was pre-​packaged and cooked from frozen.
I honestly feel like this place varies day by day and depending on the menu item you order. It’s not going to be my first choice, but I’m certainly open to trying a few more items on their menu.
