Beach Grove Cafe

Cute little place. So many decorations for Xmas when I went. Almost overcrowded but it was a very homey cozy feeling to it. Had their breakfast scone which was really good. I found myself craving it the next week.

I keep going back for the chilli, apricot oatmeal cookie and of course an Americano. What’s not to like.

A hidden gem!
Being new to the area, I’m all for scoping out the local coffee joints and boy, am I glad I found this place! I’ve had coffee and baked goods twice here. The first time I had a pumpkin scone. It was much better than the icky sweet ones at Starbucks. The second time I had a chewy ginger cookie which paired well with my coffee. My mother-​in-​law really enjoyed her quiche and salad. I usually prefer to sit inside, but there is ample outdoor seating.
What I love the most about this little café is that it feels like a little gift shop too! There is a selection of jewellery, scarves, purses, honey, tea, spice mixes, and home décor type things.
I have been here a few times and I will most definitely return because it was (1) tasty, (2) good value, (3) not your typical coffee shop, and (4) locally owned.

Sweet little neighbourhood café & blingy gift shop. Good variety of snacks and light lunch like quiche & salad. Lots of seating inside and out. The proximity of this shop to the local community as well as Boundary Bay likely contributes to it’s success. Heck, you can even park your horse out front. (–No, really!)
*Slim pickings for Celiacs especially if dairy is out of your diet as well.

After a walk along the delta on a cold December afternoon, I popped in here to warm up! So sweet! Lots of nice little Christmas gifts on sale, like cards, cups, jewelry etc.
And a good selection of sweet foods! The cookies look amazing! There was also ice cream on sale, but my body flat out refused to acknowledge it, heheh. The latte was a little bitter for my taste, but I loved everything about the place, so am bumping it up a star :)

Excellent espresso drinks (from a real espresso machine) and chai tea lattes. Don’t miss the scones! Small selection of food choices. Quaint and comfortable seating area inside and outside.
