I was going out on a Tuesday for my sons birthday(4 adults and one 9 year old child) We usually go to White Spot for the price and on non event nights(monthers day/fathers day) it is usually not very busy. My son has previously had blueberries end up in his vanilla milkshake which was replaced free and a rare hamburger that he had trouble with was replaced free and a complimentary desert was given. My sons girlfriend does not complain but took the«microwavable bacon» out of her clubhouse sandwich and set it aside. It was not well microwaved and looked greasy and cold. I had the«microwavable bacon» ONMY cheeseburger as well and did not pull it out. overall I loved having the outing with the family but it comes down to what you want. the overall setting was not rushed as we sat for 90 minutes and talked. It was not a busy night so we were not rushed out and appreciated that. My son did a birthday brownie to go. thanks. depends on your standards… I was just so glad as a senior to go out and share that time with my family.

It was fast and cheap and the service was excellent. The food was delicious and I had a great time. Our waitress was extremely pleasant as well as very helpful. I would recommend the milkshakes because they are delicious.

Of course I’ve been back since my last review but thought I would update it. Basically, this is one of our go-to places for take out. Yes, you could easily spend $ 15 per person on take out, but the food is delicious. Not sure what it is but everything tastes good. From their burgers(which are legendary!) to fish tacos and even chicken strips, it is great. Only negative with the take out would be that the fries go a bit soggy — but that’s with all take out places using real potatoes.

We decided to hit up the drive in as we had two of my dogs with us. The service was quick and prompt and kudos to the waitress for not being deterred by my spazz off a dog. We ordered a couple of legendary burger combos Mine was great, however my dad wasnt happy with his he said there wasnt enough triple o sauce. The fries were kind of cold but i don’t eat many anyways so overall i was satisfied.

It’s a huge chain so you can expect their classic dishes. Come here for their burgers and bottomless fries! Had their new Asian chicken salad which was disappointing. I should of ordered burgers like everybody else.

The food is good for what it is. The service today was lacking. If it was busy, I’d understand. She clearly didn’t listen to what we order as one of the entrées was wrong. Not my first time here, not my last. Just hope the service improves.

Whitespot has become a go-to for my friend and I when we don’t feel like arguing over where we should eat. The service in this location is usually prompt and friendly(although it is rare that they proactively offer to re-fill your«endless» fries); sometimes, it can come off as fake thoughts so… The food, if you stick to the traditional burgers, is always good. I’m not a huge fan of any menu items outside of the burgers and MAYBE chicken sandwiches but the milkshakes are amazing. The meals are always very filling so if you’re planning on getting a milkshake, consider splitting it with a friend. Oh yeah, and if you feel like going on an adventure and trying something new, skip the fish and chips, I’ve had better.

Good food, but service isn’t 100%, sometimes they screwup my order. I still go here every week so my friend can have his legendary burger fix and I usually have the chipotle chicken Wrap cause its huge and so filling. Also if you decide to get a burger or sandwich plate, make sure to add $ 2 and get zoo sticks and a Caesar salad!

My traditional burger was delicious! It was my first time at White Spot and I was curious. When you come to a restaurant that is a long-standing chain but you’ve never seen or heard of until now, you are very curious. It was very curious how this restaurant with its nice décor could have a drive-in just out the backdoor. Anyway I stuck with my guts and had the burger. It was very, very good! The fries that came with it were alright. Nothing to write home about even though they were bottomless. I stopped at a Triple O’s to pick up another burger on my way back to the States and it was delicious also! So I cannot give a full review of White Spot due to the fact that I stuck to their traditional fare. It was very busy for a Tuesday night so I’m assuming most other people were pleased :)

I went here for lunch and it was quite busy but thats a good thing. White spot generally has a home restaurant feel and the staff seems really friendly. I got the cream of broccoli soup with a side cesar salad which was great. I ordered the legendary burger because thats what my aunt recommended since she knows I love my beef :) I had that accompanied by sweet potato fries and coleslaw. They happened to mess up my aunts burger since she changed and added some things in her burger and they apologized and got her a new one right away. Also, the sweet potato fries were a bit cold so we got those replaced aswell. Their triple«O» sauce is pretty awesome and should sell in stores. Anyway to wrap things up, I had a chocolate milkshake and enjoyed that since I had no room for ice cream or cake for dessert. Besides the whole returning the food thing, overall I enjoyed my burger and will come back soon!

We often come to this branch during our trips out west to visit family. Service is generally solid and in all, it’s a standard white spot experience. Over the past years, White Spot has gone more high end(pricier food items, with a revamped selection of burgers, and old faves somewhat transformed and shifted around; décor with rock waterfalls and rough cut stone in thin, horizontal layers, etc), while Triple O’s, as small add on diners at gas stations(?? yes, gas stations – it sounds odd, but isn’t as bad as it might seem from the bare description) are more in the burger and fries vein. The latter are fine, but if you want a proper sit down experience, you still have to go to White Spot. As others have said, my main reason(esp because it’s just during brief visits now) is for the burgers. They also used to have a fabulous toasted shrimp sandwich that friends tell me you can still get if you order it separately. If this is true, then they are highly recommended, though they don’t tend to keep me full for as long. But the burgers are the core. I’m a Monty mushroom kind of gal, but as I get older, the full size is too much, and too greasy/heavy for me – esp with a side of fries and the coleslaw and all the rest. So, it’s a good thing that they now have three sliders as an appetizer option. You can get three different kinds(legendary, Monty mushroom and bacon cheeseburger, i think) or all of the same – I get the Monty mushroom in slider size and that feels about right for lunch, with no other sides(bigger appetites should go for the standard platter, with sides, of course – I just find it too much for me). In all, the legendary burger/Monty mushroom is definitely a ‘taste of home’ for me, whenever I come back to visit my old haunts and the place where I spent so many of my formative years! As long as they don’t change that, I’ll always be coming back to the White Spot!

Why is it that every White Spot, except the Tsawwassen one, that is ¾ empty insists on having its arriving guests wait lined up in the lobby… of an EMPTY restaurant??? This WS was no different… An abundance of empty tables and my 88 year old mom with her walker has to stand for over 10 minutes until I insist on someone getting the manager and seating us. If it were not for my mom who really wanted to eat something I surely would have left. We went in only for a nice dessert only to find out that they have cut all the yummy things from their menus and now only offer these mini desserts. My mom had the apple crumble and I the cheesecake, both were nothiing exceptional. Their tea that they serve, Mighty Leaf Tropical Green Tea, second to none. Love it. Add a «titch» of sugar or Sucra to it, and voila… but maybe find it a restaurant that actually wants it’s clientele sitting at their tables not standing in the lobby!

Went there for lunch with my hubby. I had the Chuck Currie burger. I don’t normally eat meat but when I read balsamic mushrooms and blue brie cheese I was sold. It was delicious! It did not have a blue cheese taste, although I do like blue cheese. It had coleslaw on the side which I love and I substituted for the yam fries with chipotle dip. They have the best yam fries out of every restaurant I have gone to. The waitress was amazingly attentive and friendly even though it was insanely busy. Good times had by all =)

I don’t want to make a bad habit of writing thoughts on chain restaurants, but after my latest meal at White Spot — it’s for the kids and the Pirate Packs, I swear — I had to share a COUPLE of things. Call them my White Spot Rules. 1. You go to White Spot to have a burger and nothing else. Stick to the mainstream — Legendary burger or double-double. The Big(6oz) patties are horrible and dry — so resist the urge and don’t go for anything that has BIG in its name. 2. Skip dessert. Seriously the blueberry pie I had was OK, but where did that horrible crust come from?!? If you feel like a dessert at any point during your meal, get a milkshake. 3. I am a COLESLAW guy. I just love it. Wherever I go I like to get coleslaw. White Spot has coleslaw but it is BEYOND disgusting. What is it exactly??? They need a new CS recipe. —- I was wholly disappointed with my «Bishop’s Big Buger» Everytime I break Rule1 I tell myself I will never deviate but I do. And when I do, I am ALWAYS disappointed.
