Acquired Taste Tea Company

we always go there. I love their jasmine tea. Not a big fan of fruity or other flavored tea, more towards classic. They have good oolong as well.
Last time we got $ 5 off because we spent $ 75 accumulated by then. Was not bad :)

I’m not a huge tea ‘connoisseur’, but I’m learning. So when I go into a place specifically revolved around tea, it can be a little overwhelming. Not at Acquired Taste! The ladies working were helpful and incredibly easy to deal with. They instantly made me feel at home and didn’t make the experience intimidating at all. I’ll definitely be going back!

I absolutely love their new location! It’s so fresh and bright. This is the perfect place to find a gift for anyone in your life that likes tea. I will definitely come here instead of the chain tea shops. The service is great, and I find that the flavours here are more down to earth, and not full of sprinkle and lollipops. You know what I mean!

Acquired Taste Tea Company was forced to abandon their old location, but they have found a new home across the street. And what a lovely new little shop it is! I have always loved Acquired Taste’s teas; they are fresh, well crafted, made with high quality ingredients. There are so many different varieties from Green, White, Rooibos, Puer, Black and on and on. Two of my faves are the Maple Crème that is sweet yet bold, and a herbal tea made with berries that are indigenous to the Prairie Provinces — it makes an amazing gift for out of town visitors.
The staff is very nice, they can help you find what you are looking for. But if you just want to browse around, they are quite good at just letting you be to smell all the tea jars. If you are driving down and street parking is all filled, try going down the side ally, there are usually lots of spots in the back of the building for parking that are free.

Have not been to their new location but I love this tea shop. They have an amazing tea selection, lots of cool tea pots and cups, and the staff is always so helpful.
I have gone when I was sick with a specific issue and not only did they find a tea perfect for me, the gave me a home remedy to try that really helped!
I also like how they keep track of your tea purchases so you eventually get a free tea :)
