Absolutely wonderful place. The pizzas are made Greek style, which doesn’t meant anything unless you know what that is. Perfectly crispy crunchy dough with amazing sauce and toppings. Greek style as much as I can understand it is toppings under the cheese with olive oil and salted ever so slightly. Amazing! I recommend highly the Greek style ribs as they’re made show poached in Greek herbs, then flash grilled. Absolutely amazing with some lemon juice. OMG to almost die for. My only criticism it that done this way, there’s a lot of fat left on the ribs. But if you’re a fat fanatic, this IS the place for your rib dining pleasure. Owned and operated by a Greek family, don’t be surprised if there’s guests not speaking in English. True authentic Greek cuisine here. My only incite, coming from the family, the American/Canadian dishes, burgers for example, are not made in house. They’re pre-made and brought in then grilled from frozen. But honestly, if you’re in a Greek kitchen, go for authentic! Seriously the best ribs I’ve ever had. Didn’t even know I loved ribs Greek style until I came here. I’ll never order ribs from a chain restaurant ever again after these amazing beauties! But again, as always, I advise you to come in and have your own dining experience. Mine was fantastic.

This place is vastly underrated. I have longed for a traditional pizza joint that won’t make me sick with all their fillers, and finally I’ve discovered Black Bull pizza. If you want a disgusting, greasy pizza that will make you feel like crap, then go somewhere else. Black Bull uses simple ingredients to make their crust(real, traditional dough… no oil or eggs), and the sauce is simple yet delicious. The toppings are generous, and you can get a large pizza for $ 20-$ 24. This can change quickly though, if you start to add on extra toppings. The only topping I didn’t care for was the shrimp. Two of us shared a a large pizza and came home with 4 slices. Amazing crust, truly perfect. Simple, traditional pizzas. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Oh, and really great service. Family owned and operated. Support local!

If there is one thing I eat a lot of its Pizza So when I read the reviews for this place I was excited. I asked the waitress if I should get a steak or the pizza. With out even a pause she recommended the pizza I got a small Caesar salad and a small pepperoni, Bacon, pineapple pizza The Caesar salad was a 5 out of 10 the garlic toast was actually toast like you would make at home The pizza arrived and looked like a great mom and pop pizza but the sauce was very bland the pepperoni was lacking any flavour and the pineapple was dry and the bacon(real bacon) was burn This might sound crazy but the whole thing seemed dry and the crust was tough Overall a 6 out of 10 Service was very good

My hubby & I had lunch here yesterday in search of a really good beef dip, that’s his favourite. We stumbled upon it after trying Rockin Robins earlier in the week located in the same plaza. The décor dates back to the original 1976 opening as it states but it is charming. Full of half moon black booths & parquet table tops. The service was great, the ladies were very attentive & frequented our table often keeping the pop topped upped. We got there at 11:30& there were already a few tables. By the time we left an hour later the place was packed with people on their work lunch breaks. The place is not overly huge but not to small either. We both ordered the beef dip, he had fries, I had caesar salad. When the beef dip arrived visually we were both disappointed with the size of the sandwich. It is served on a sesame sub bun which is fairly small as beef dips go. The fries could have been a healthier serving as well & the salad was overflowing. After our first bites the sandwich had made up for its size in taste. The bun was toasted with garlic butter & the beef was sliced, almost shaved, moist & oh so tasty. The fries were absolutely delicious & I’m not a huge fry enthusiast. The Caesar salad was fine, powdered Parmesan & boxed croutons, tasty enough. Verdict. We would definitely go back for the beef dip. We would also really like to try the philly cheese steak with its good reviews as well. Oh, & the bathroom was clean yet tiny.

Loved the meal! I got the Philly Cheese Steak. Amazing. After spending the last 3 weeks eating around West Edmonton I have to say this place brought the biggest smile to my face :) thanks!

Great food, great service, great prices, large portions. You HAVE to get a piece of homemade pie. Nice to go to a family run business with such friendly staff.

So it shames me to say that I have not been here for almost 20 years but was glad on my current visit that I got to ask the family ownership a few questions. I cannot comment on the service other than it was pleasant and fast as I did a to go order. I had asked if it was family owned and they proudly explained that it sure was! She explained also that while they opened in 1976 and have downsized over the years, as they got a touch older, it was just to keep the passion for the food alive but also not drain every ounce of their energy.(or something like that) What I noticed while waiting for my order was the many families that were in this unassuming place. All smiling and thoroughly enjoying the meals presented before them. The owners checked on everyone with a smile and made sure all was good with their visit. The interaction was great and smiles say it all on both sides. I ordered a Philly cheese steak and and it is one of my favourite sandwiches and I can be easily disappointed. I had ordered Au Jus and the waitress looked at me a touch perplexed and when I took out my sandwich to eat it I instantly knew why. The sirloin steak, that was cooked to perfection, was all the moisture I needed and blended so well with the sauteed onions, mushrooms and peppers that my mouth had hit an organized flavor bomb. Throw in a generous smothering of Swiss cheese and I am one happy boy! I ordered a Cesar salad as my side and it was in my opinion a homemade tasty sauce but could have done with a bit less Parmesan but still good. I can’t wait to go in for a true steak dinner as the items I saw rolling out before my eyes looked so savoury and delicious. I love mom and pop places and I can see why the rating for the comfort food here are high. Down to earth and seem like good people who want people to enjoy the visit and to delight in good quality food :)

I found this place during my first trip to Edmonton. It is located in a strip mall near Mayfield. I was there with friends and family. There is a reasonably priced kids menu for those with children. I had the ribeye(hand cut Alberta beef, mmmmmm) with a baked potato, toast, and seasonal veggies which included green beans, carrots, and cauliflower. The vegetables were cooked but were cold on arrival. However, the steak was perfection and perfectly medium just like ordered. The baked potato was tasty and not overbaked. My friend got the t-bone which was very tasty with mashed potatoes everything else similar to myself. For drinks, the ice tea is sweetened perfectly. They also offer a variety of hot and herbal teas. The service was exemplary! Overall, a nice find about 3.25km north of the famous West Edmonton Mall. Technically, I want to rate it 3.25 stars but I do not have that option.
