Nothing but praise from this first time customer and a first timer getting a pet groomed.
Found this place from Unilocal and chose it based on all its positive reviews. I brought in my recently adopted 6mo. long haired cat with what I thought was a bad case of matted fur everywhere. I was assuming they would have to shave her and was prepared to leave with a half shaved angry kitten. That being said they managed to comb them all out in less than 15minutes! I was offered to come back if I wanted so I did, but was never asked to have to help out. They were more than capable of handling my whiny kitten.
Perhaps my expectations added to being just so pleasantly surprised with my result of being in and out so quickly and with a now mat-​free long haired kitten. The price point was very reasonable as well.
I hope this review reaffirms all the positive reviews others have left. As great as it was I kind of hope to not have to come back for mat removal but I know where I’ll go if I do :)

Top Notch.
I bring my kitty here for grooming. A lion shave, clipped nails and dry shampoo run me $ 65 and it’s worth every penny.
The groomer lady is just awesome. She’s usually flexible to squeeze me in on the day of and she keeps her times as scheduled which I for one appreciate. It shows her professionalism and pride in running a sound business.
She’s really great with my cat. Chloe doesn’t fuss or scramble and at this point I think she looks forward to her visits to Catty Canines.
It’s a nice open space with a waiting room, good amount of free parking and conveniently located on 82^nd Ave. Catty Canines is cheaper than the likes of Pet Smart (I think they run around $ 90 for the same service) and you can feel good about supporting a local small business.
Get your pet to Catty Canines, they’ll thank you!

My cat Navi had a bad year for mats, and we were unable to comb them out at home. We took her here thinking we’d have to shave her, but they combed her out in less than ten minutes! They even let us watch, and taught us how. Came to less than $ 70 with a new comb included, and the knowledge on how to deal with her fur. If we ever have any issues in the future, we’ll for sure go back.

My my dog hates being groomed and gets stressed out being handled by strangers. I’ve been taking her here twice a year for the last few years and I’m never disappointed. They can book us in fairly soon and they are very gracious about my stubborn pup.

I took Katezilla and Maggie Mae in here because they were shedding hair everywhere. Getting there was bad because they didn’t like being stuck in their cat carrier.
They made sad little cat noises that I haven’t heard before.
Bringing them in the owner/​groomer Chelsea had me sign a release form and then off she went.
I stayed to help, I didn’t want my girls getting too traumatized. They actually both had no problems.
Chelsea gave them both shaves, and cute little lion tufts (Not a full lion cut, because my kitties are medium hair)
She also put on a nice no water shampoo, and both of my cats had no problem when she trimmed their nails.
The total was about $ 60 per kitty, but well worth it. I didn’t know realize how much hair was coming off them until I noticed that there was no hair coming off. I think I’m addicted to seeing how cute they look with their fresh hair cuts.
They look like kittens again with their big fuzzy heads and itty bitty cat bodies.
