Happened into the place for the first time on Superbowl Sunday and was surprised how quiet the it was, probably not the same during NHL Playoffs and the Grey Cup. There were a number of T.V.‘s all showing the game so even if the place really filled up you would be able to watch. The sound was O.K. but there was no amplification so everything was kind of flat. Ordered wings with house sauce(approx 8 – 10 large sized pieces) and the Champ Burger. Both were well cooked and reasonably priced. The server was nice and seemed to know most of the other customers lending a casual atmosphere to the restaurant. There is a mixture of tables, couches and bar seating available. No real area for dancing but there is a pool table and a few other games in one corner. At about half-time a group of around 12 University students(mostly male) came in horsing around and stuff, some of their behaviour you wouldn’t expect in public on a Sunday afternoon but mostly they were just having fun. The server didn’t seem at all interested in containing their antics. Normally this is a pretty noisy College hang-out so don’t expect to always be able to drop in for a quiet(or civilized) meal. I’ll just assume that weekend’s are busiest and whenever Karaōke night happens to be. Everything was fine for watching the game but nothing was good enough to be really great.

A pretty standard sports bar kind of place. It’s a small-ish bar, but has the kind of atmosphere that encourages standing and mingling, so it works out OK. The beer is always flowing here with the younger crowd of university-types. Other drinks are available, too, but beer is most everyone’s first choice! Nothing special, but a good place for drinks out with the friends to watch the big game.
