Chipman 1/4lb. Fries

Zero stars. Zero. I can’t speak to how good their food is, but we booked them for an event that they no-​showed. When they didn’t show up on time, we called them only to receive the incredibly lame explanation that they had experienced «mechanical failure.» Apparently, whatever impacted their truck also virally spread to their cell phones and computers because it prevented them from calling or emailing us so we could make alternate arrangements. We were left without a food truck for the final day of our event as a result. Total lack of consideration and professionalism. Be warned.

Canada Day– Spruce Grove
I chose to wait in line for 45 min or more for fish and chips and a second order of fries. Hungry kids plus their motto was something about unforgettable fries.
There was an inordinate amount of yelling and sounds coming from the truck. Then the man yells at us to call security. He is pretty much hollering at us to call. Okay, a lady finds someone to help and they’re on their way. More yelling, this time I’m close enough to see its directed at a kid working inside and the man is threatening to kick him off and telling him how incompetent he is. The girl taking orders is mortified. I pay for an order of fish and chips ($ 10) an order of fries ($ 5) and water and coke. No coke, they’re out. I’m waiting for a long time, other people had got their food much faster. She gives me my fries and I’m wondering where the rest is. A little while later the man finally hollers out that he is out of fish for the next 30 min or more. I finally get the girls attention and she must assume that I’m going to wait but I ask for my money back.
All in all, the most awkward and poor service and despite their claims, very forgettable fries. Would love to have tried the fish but will never wait in line for this truck again!
