Best new restaurant in the West End in a very long time. This area was seriously lacking before Co Do Hue opened up. We stumbled upon it on their opening day and have been regulars ever since. You order up at the front and get your cutlery, water, etc but they do deliver the food to your table. It seems like its a family affair working there and they are so genuine and nice! The food is simply awesome. Everything we’ve tried has been amazing. Spring rolls are totally stuffed with meat. The spicy Satay Soup is killer ! Get over there now, you won’t be disappointed…

Tasty however, the topping portions are much smaller than their other locations for the same price. Good place to go to that’s located on the west end. Just pricier in comparison for what you’re getting and its self service to boot.

Seriously love this place. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. I’ve had a few things on the menu and my favourite is the steamed rice with grilled beef. I have no idea what they marinade their beef in but it’s like crack! I’m ashamed to admit I’ve eaten here twice in one week because of how addicted I am. The spring rolls are awesome too, lots of meat and always cooked nice and crispy. I usually walk in and order and normally don’t have to wait any longer then 10 – 15 minutes which is awesome for fresh delicious food. Even when I call to pick up my food is ready to go when I get there. Awesome eatery, definitely check it out.

I can only give it 3 stars because the phở was good with tasty broth and meat but they take the self service thing a little far. You pay at the front and they bring the food to you but you have to go to the front to get spoon, fork, napkins, water and even fill the little sauce cups yourself out of plastic containers and take it back to the table. It can’t be that hard to put the sauces, napkins and even spoons in one of the table racks other restaurants use that i go to or to just bring it to you. They even had 2 plastic bins for dirty dishes next to the pop and paper garbage bins on the way out of the restaurant for anyone who wanted to clean their own tables. I suppose it wasn’t all bad though because i didn’t feel the need to leave a tip.

Really great phở place! So clean and they even provided a pair of clean scissors for my daughter so I could cut her noodles up.

I was so excited when I saw a Viatnamese restaurant open so close to home. I seriously couldn’t contain myself. I phở-ing love phở. The staff are very friendly and the food(phở, vermicelli, green onion cakes, etc.) is delicious. Unfortunately no banh mi, but we’ll forgive them.

I was very happy to see Co Do Hue open because there is a real lack of good Vietnamese restaurants in the west end. You order at the counter whether you are staying or taking out. If you are eating in, you also take all of your cutlery and condiments at the front. Your food will be brought to your table, though. I found the phở to be very flavourful with a good broth and lots of meat. The salad rolls come in several varieties — our chicken ones were excellent in that the chicken actually was grilled and had a deep flavour. Prices are reasonable, portions are good, and the menu has pretty much everything you would want in this sort of establishment, such as vermicelli bowls, phở, and rice dishes.

Cô Dô Hue on the west end makes me one happy camper. Opened a few months ago, I’ve passed it so many times now but haven’t had a chance to check them out until now. A no frills, order at the counter type of restaurant, don’t expect top notch service here. But who cares when the food is delicious? After a couple of hours of tennis nearby, my pops and I needed something to eat so we stopped in at Cô Dô’s. We came on a late Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t very busy at all. I’m curious as to how much business they do as it is a bit in the middle of nowhere. High school kids(FX and JP) should be all over this shiiiiiz. I wish there hours went late though(everyday 11am-8pm except closed Tuesdays). Seriously, where’s the late night phở options??? Alas, let’s get back to the point. As I said before, you order at the counter and pay right away. It’s pretty much self-serve. We had to grab our own utensils and napkins. There is a water dispenser at the front which you’re allowed to use. The menu is much more smaller than the north side location but all of their popular dishes made the shortened selection. Basically, it’s split into appetizers, vermicelli bowls, soups and rice dishes. — Bun bo hue(#18)($ 10.95) — beef brisket, pork sausage and pork meat balls in a spicy broth. I’ve had this dish way too many times but it’s just that good. Spicy, aromatic, their bun bo hue is full of depth and flavour. One of my favourite bowls that will satisfy anyone’s palate. — Lai fun noodle soup(#25)($ 10.95) — seafood and pork sausage in chicken broth. My pops ordered this one and he really liked it. I’ve had this before and it is gooooooood. He liked that it didn’t have any MSG in it but was packed with a ton of flavour. West end finally has some good phở! It’s only a few minutes away from WEM so if you want some actual good quality eats, make the 5 minute drive and come to Cô Dô Hue. I already know I’ll be back many times in the near future. Too bad they don’t have a loyalty card ala bubble tea style, I could use a free bowls or two. Business idea!

Finished church and came here to eat. It recently opened. Food is pretty good. Although you order and pay first, they bring the food to you. I was hungry and forgot to take pictures. However my spouse liked the food. Service seems really good because the table behind us, the lady forgot to request a different noodle other than the egg noodle and the server said no problem and ton it back to exchange it for her. All in all decent food and great service. To bad they don’t open late. They are open everyday except Tuesday 11AM to 8PM.
