I would really recommend getting waxed at courtyard! The staff is so nice and accommodating to my busy schedule, they always find time for me at short notice! Ask for Nalia, she is very good at her job. She is social, patient and pays attention to detail. After hearing so many horror stories from friends, I only trust Nalia with waxing me. She is very skilled at her works and the best I’ve ever had!

I booked a massage with Erika… the massage itself was good with warm oils and was really relaxing. However when checking the times I arrived at 420 (10 minutes early) and on checking the time after I was done by 515… this is more 45 minute massage for the price of an hour :(

Thanks to Lisa B’s review, I requested to see Naila for my full face threading. She’s very sweet, kind, and thorough. She listened to what I wanted for my eyebrow shape, and shaped them beautifully. There was some hair left on different parts of my face, but I have never been to a place that didn’t miss some hair.
It was a bit pricey compared to what I’m used to (around $ 30 or so), but the customer service is awesome and so are my eyebrows! It’s pretty hard to find someone who shapes your brows perfectly.
I will be coming by soon, and hope to try more of their services in the future.

I have been here to see Naila three times for threading. She does a beautiful job and pays attention to detail. My eyebrows are always beautifully shaped. And she is patient — I’m a pretty awkward person at places that cater to beauty, and get a bit nervous, but she gently places my fingers where they need to be. She also does a bit of a brow massage when done, very soothing when you just got your eyebrow ripped out by the roots. The staff that I’ve met have all been very friendly and the facility itself is beautiful with a water fountain at the front door. Music is gentle and relaxing. I’m not really into beauty services (eyebrows is about all the attention my face gets) but am thinking I might try some of their relaxation services. I find them very reasonably priced for eyebrow threading (total $ 13.60) so I book an appointment every 5 weeks. Thanks Naila!

Great location and even better service. Very friendly staff and they accommodate you according to your schedule. Always a smile on the staff’s face when you walk in. They explain every part of the procedure so there’s no surprises. Great place to unwind and relax. Highly recommended for your next spa day.

I have since been back twice since my horrible experience at this spa and I’m actually surprised at the 180 spin this spa has done. When I returned for the second wax in my 3 wax groupon for this place I was a little worried and nervous. I didn’t know whether I could go through the same damaging experience as I went through last time. Fortunately, I was given a different waxer and I’m so glad because she has made all the difference!
So for my second Brazilian wax there, it was the same procedure of taking shoes off and getting changed in the small room. They still were using the small towel to cover my goods and did not use any draping techniques but I was accustomed to it now. The new waxer was very friendly and accommodating as the rest of the staff, and I was so thankful as she started the procedure that she was trained and educated in the art of waxing. She didn’t need to say anything about her education but her skill was apparent. She did everything efficiently and painless, which was 100% better than last time, she also did my eyebrows and while it wasn’t as good as the first time I got them done at this spa, they were still pretty good so I didn’t mind. The lady was very talkative and social that it definitely made the experience a lot more enjoyable. By the end, we had already scheduled the next time so I wouldn’t have to worry about it later and I found myself looking forward to it.
My third groupon experience was beyond amazing and made me become loyal to them. I had come in before a vacation and had scheduled the brazilian and under arm wax. I made it a point to book with the lady that had turned my experience around at this spa, and when I came in she greeted me kindly and took me to the small room. I was surprised to see a bigger towel available on the bed and eagerly draped it on, until five minutes later it was completely gone which I don’t mind anymore.
What really blew me away was the flexibility to get more services as well as the customer service, which has always been apparent. The lady quickly and expertly finished the two waxes I had booked while we had a wonderful conversation, but I still wasn’t sure whether I wanted my legs waxed or if I wanted to stay up later to shave them. I realized that I was too tired and relaxed at the spa to take the second option, so I inquired if she had the time. Usually at normal spas once you have had your services done they kick you out to get the next client in, but here they made me a priority and accommodated my requests. I was also on the fence whether I should get my eyebrows threaded since they weren’t fully grown out, but had a couple of stragglers. The lady’s generosity astounded me as she said she would give me a maintenance thread for no additional cost.
Finally I was fully dressed and ready to pay when I realized I had a bit more spare time before I needed to be home, so I asked for the next vacation must, a pedicure! Once again they made room for me and set me up in the other side of the spa for pedicures. This was my first pedicure ever and it did not disappoint! I’ve had gel polish done before on my toenails with chipping occurring shortly after but the nail polish that was applied has not chipped yet and its a month after I received the service. The pedicure itself was very nice from soaking your feet in the tub, to getting the cuticles/​nails maintained/​cut, to getting them massaged and scrubbed of dead skin, to applying the polish and lotions. By the time all my services were done it was closing time and there wasn’t enough time for the polish to dry for me to put on my shoes without smudging them. So the spa offered me the use of their flip flops to take home, so long as I am able to return them on my next visit. AHMAZING! I am now a loyal client. Best part about the pedicure? Even my boyfriend noticed the difference in the softness of my feet and now wants to give it a try to improve the skin on his feet.
Overall I am shocked at the difference a person makes to the quality of the spa, if you’ve had a bad experience here, I recommend you try this place again but with a different service provider, I know you’ll feel differently.

I can’t say enough good things about this place: the staff are all excellent and friendly, and the treatments are professional. Every time I go in they have a smile on their face and are happy to answer any questions you have. The place is clean and looks beautiful as well.
The first time I came here I had a groupon for a Brazilian wax. It was my first Brazilian, so I was nervous. But it turned out I had no reason to be! The aesthetician was professional and courteous, and did her job well. I later purchased another groupon for a microdermabrasion with facial, which was awesome! The groupon covered the microdermabrasion with a mini-​facial, but my aesthetician was kind enough to agree to do a full facial with the microdermabrasion for only $ 20 more than the groupon price.
I just went back for another waxing appointment, this time for a Brazilian, lower legs and underarms. As the other review mentioned, the beds face the doors, which can be a little frightening, however, they gave me a hand towel, which was enough to cover me from hip to hip, so I was comfortable. This time I had a different lady doing the waxing, and she barely got me to change positions, but it went even better than the previous one. All three of the waxing procedures were scheduled to take 75 minutes, but because of the level of expertise, they only took 25. However bad that seems, it’s actually better than having them last the scheduled amount of time. Who wants to sit there for half an hour while someone peers at your lady bits trying to figure out where the wax goes? And who wants to wait in between strips? It’s easier to just get it over with, I think!
P. S. I have an upcoming appointment for a more spa day-​like experience (sans-​waxing!) with the same aesthetician I had for the waxing, and she was legit already planning what nail art we should do for the artistic pedicure I’m getting. :)
