I’ve been a patron of Duke’s Barber Shop for quite some time; 30 years to be exact. Gord has been cutting my hair since I was a kid and there is no better old school barber in Edmonton.
Prices are fair. Sometimes you wait, sometimes you don’t.

Nice and friendly service. I’ve been trying to find a traditional barber shop in Edmonton but really haven’t been satisfied. Definitely not the hipster style barber shop. This is old school. Love the sideburn and neck shave at the end. Now, this is what I was looking for. There were three barbers but overheard a customer looking for another barber. The lady that I got (close to the door) did just fine. I’m pleased with my cut. Definitely will be back.

Duke’s is an absolutely first-rate, old-school barbershop. It’s small and basic with a no-frills approach to barbering. But what Duke’s lacks in fancy décor, they more than make up for in excellent service. They offer the finest hot-shave in Edmonton. Perhaps most remarkable-despite how busy they are (always at least 2 or 3 people waiting for cuts), they never rush your cut/shave. Simply an excellent barbershop.
