History

Established in 1894.

Duncan Craig LLP was established in Edmonton in 1894. The founding partners were William Short, who later served as first Mayor of the City of Edmonton, and Charles Cross, who became the first Attorney General of the Province of Alberta. As one of the oldest law firms in Alberta, we have built our business on a continuous connection to our communities and our clients and work hard to live up to our long tradition of finding excellent solutions for our clients with a clear and compassionate focus.

Since our founding, our main office has had an established presence in the heart of Edmonton, never moving more than a few blocks from our current location in Scotia Place.
