I love Extreme Pita! The food is always good and tastes fresh, and the place itself is always clean and bright. There are plenty of options for your veggies, toppings and sauces(except regular mustard!), and although they are a bit pricier than other healthy options, it’s worth it. I wish they had smoothie options like Pita Pit does, but that’s not a big issue for this guy. I Heart Edmonton

Went here on May 2, 2014. Staff lack knowledge or proper food handling. They did not wash their hand even though their is a sign clearly stating must wash hand before handling food, guess they assume wearing plastic gloves is good enough. During their service they were routinely missing stuff and had to go to the back. Went from serving area to back to get pizza cutter, pizza box and spatula. Never changed their plastic gloves or washed their hands and went from touching the door to touching food without a second though. One staff member came from the bathroom are and put on a pair of gloves and also started serving customers.

This location is tucked inside a strip mall, between a Quiznos and a Subway. Parking is a little tight here in this section of the huge parking lot. Their claim to fame is that the meat is cooked in water and not oil. This really does make a difference, especially when you pick it up. The bag doesn’t turn clear. Speaking of bags, it looks like all the packing here is also oxo-biodgradeable. The other neat thing about this chain is that their nutritional information is printed directly on the napkins. Makes for good reading while you’re stuffing your face. The size is pretty decent for the price.
