G-Star Raw

This store carries a lot of unique clothing pieces. Its pieces are generally military-​inspired, with industrial accents and a dash of urban or formal style, dependent upon the piece and season. The highlights are definitely the jackets, which are quite sturdily constructed and at a fairly reasonable price point compared to other designer brands. They are also popular for their denim, as indicated by the eponymous «Raw» in the name, although they actually don’t carry very many raw (untreated and not pre-​distressed) denim. The denim is slightly overpriced given the quality of the fabric, but like everything else here, has a fairly unique aesthetic.
The price points across their styles make little sense, however. There’s no intuitive sense to their pricing; sweaters are sometimes more expensive than a good jacket, a basic shirt might be three times more expensive than a similar one sitting next to it. Supposedly, the difference lies in fabrics and construction, but it feels much more as if they are being sold at the price at which the company can make the most profit. Perhaps this is a rather pessimistic view, though.
The main issue with the G-​Star store is that you can find their clothes at other retailers for the same price or less. Third party stores are generally more generous with their sales as well, which this store definitely is not. The staff here are also merely average and talk to each other too much. The store isn’t merchandised very well; clothes are often arranged sloppily or stuffed a few too many onto a hanging bar, cheapening the overall feel. If you want to buy G-​Star, it is a bit ironic, then, that there are better places to do it than the official G-​Star store.

I was expecting this store to be one of those Ed Hardy-​like clothing stores, but I good thing I was wrong.
Silly name aside, I would say that G-​Star Raw one of the most original stores on Europa Boulevard. It has a unique style about it that you just don’t see around West Edmonton Mall. It’s kind of like a mix between Urban Outfitters, Puma, Henry Singer. I guess that’s the best have to describe.
Taj is right, the best thing about the store are the jackets. Again, a very unique style that you don’t see very often around these parts.

I love G-​Star. Most of their items are reasonably priced in comparison to similar stores but some items are just ridiculously priced. That being said they such awesome clothing that I often start convincing myself that some of the overpriced items are THAT pricey.
The clothes they carry are very trendy and very urban but my favorite part about G-​Star is their jackets. The jackets are stylish, comfortable and fit great. It is really perfect. They are stylish but not overly dressy. You can wear them at pretty much all types of occasions and they just blend in. It’s magical.

G-​Star has been gaining popularity over the past few years. Their clothes are very trendy and modern, without being as outrageously expensive as other brands. The staff here were friendly and made sure I was up to date with their current sale offers.
They had some shirts in their sale section that caught my eye, unfortunately nothing was my size. I like the clothing offered here, but their prices can be quite high sometimes. I like their more formal wear. They make you look sharp, yet not too styled out.

This is a cool store for guys. Paradox carries some really great styles of men’s clothing, accessories and shoes. Their selection of men’s clothing seems to be a little on the higher class side and I would say their items are very modern. They have some really nice, professional clothes and shoes. They even have some comfortable looking jeans and sweaters with great designs on them. They have some really great looking plain black sweaters that would look great on any guy. You really can’t go too wrong with black sweaters. Guys I just have to say that there is something about a guy who wears a black sweater and jeans that make them seem so much sexier to women; well at least for me anyway.
They were having a huge sale on some items, but you’ll just have to check out to see if that sale is still going on.
Oh, ladies, just to let you know, they also have a small section at the back of the store just for us. Like the men’s section, they carry some really great, modern styles. I’m sure you could find something if you need to pick up clothes for work or even to look nice in general; generally I dress like a bum so these modern, classy styles mean I would be dressing up.
The staff is really nice and so is the store.
