In a mall where chain stores generally reign supreme it’s nice to see a smaller business in WEM doing so well. I have walked past Ascension many times over the years but finally decided to step inside and take a peek last weekend. The store has a pretty eclectic selection of incense, jewelry, clothing, and home décor items which mostly seem to be influenced by Asian culture. Prices seemed to range anywhere from cheap to super pricey. There was one hoodie in particular that I looked at which was very beautiful but rang in at a lofty $ 109.00. The bags I liked were a little more reasonable at $ 25.00. The staff seemed nice and it’s a pretty chill atmosphere. If I was not guilty of buying a ridiculous amount of accessories at the store I visited prior I would have definitely picked up some of their pretty bracelets. I will definitely be back next payday though and if Asian culture is an interest of yours I highly recommend you give it a gander yourself as well!

Kerri is right: this is definitely one of the best hemp clothing stores in Edmonton. The quality of the hemp clothing is great since it’s imported from Canada. I came here with a friend of mine and he ended up buying a pair of hemp Adidas sneakers Good luck finding this place though, it’s almost as hidden as Narnia. It’s tucked away behind the escalators going up to the Scotiabank Theatre on the right.

This is a cute place located in no-man’s land in West Edmonton Mall. This place carries a lot of home décor items of Asian spiritual Gods. They also carry a lot of hemp clothing; some of them are really great looking. They also carry come cute black dresses along with some warm looking winter jackets. They have a big selection of scarfs and great handbags and purses. They carry cool accessories also. They have men and women’s items. The employees are pretty nice and the store is pretty cool. It’s an interesting place and a great place to check out.

This store has the greatest selection of hemp clothing that I’ve seen in Edmonton. Most of it is imported from California. They also sell hemp jewelery that is handmade by staff members. There’s a selection of incense and burners, statuettes of Buddha, some neat pyramid statuettes, an array of unique belt buckles. I was drawn to a selection of hats — most of which were cotton but I managed to find a cute hemp one. They have some lotions containing hemp and some shampoos specifically for dreads.
