I’ve been here, I’ve done that … and now, I think I’m done with that. To be honest, Greek to go has a couple of decent options and the chicken skewers that I had made me crave them the next day! The salad given with the chicken skewers is filled with tasty feta too. Their roasted full-potato is ravishingly spiced and really, as mentioned by Sha na na, I could have that everyday! Having said that, there’s nothing here that would surprise me, even when I am sloshed drunk. I like Greek food and I like that this place is really a great to-go option but come on, there are so many similar places peppered all over Whyte and I’m not even talking about a 5 block radius. I’m talking about a 1 block radius. Everything about this place screams … «Oh My God, not again!» to even the occasional visitors of Whyte. I would have loved to give this place a more than appreciable review but I can’t seem to wrap my head around why it’s there to begin with. I think it’s certainly a 3-star A-OK place for something on Whyte. Don’t expect to be surprised.

with so many donair shops on Whyte ave I was so disappointed we chose this one. Maybe the guy was new. Maybe he wasn’t used to working alone, I don’t know what but we went there on a Sunday night around 9:30 and he was a wreck. The guy wasn’t able to take our order until he had finished with the last couple’s order(which took forever). Then it must have taken him 15 minutes to make our food which we ordered to go. We ordered fries which we figured would be cold by the time we got home but they had a bit of an older taste than just cold. The greek salad was tilted in to our cary out bag in such a way that it poured all over everything without our noticing and my beef souvlaki was a chicken souvlaki. Oh well. There are lots of other places to get Greek food.
