This is actually really good food, for a food court! No, it’s not fine dining, but you can’t expect that at a mall. The chicken slouvaki is always good, and you can ask for the salad on the side. I go here quite often when I’m working.

WEM best location, good food for a food court, been there over 10 times.

Just tried the West Ed Mall location in the food court. Pretty sure this is close to the best food court meal I’ve had. The spinach pie veggie plate included fresh, cold salad(with flavourful tomatoes — not the cardboard variety), hot lemony roast potatoes, hot perfectly spiced rice pilaff, spanakopita and an awesome big spoonful of tzatziki. Servings were large, price was decent. I find most«ethnic» foods underspiced in food courts. This was spiced properly — respecting the nature of Greek flavours. Way to go people! I’ll be back.

Talk about a great filling meal, I went to Jimmy The Greek and I fell in love the moment i tried the Chicken Souvlaki and it was really amazing! the chicken had an excellent tender, juicy taste. The rice was the most amazing thing i have ever tried the taste was unfamiliar but i loved it. the potatoes were in a lemon water and that somewhat was good. the price was really a steel for 8 dollars you can get a nice meal.(pro tip: Always ask it to go, it seams like you get way more then when you get it on the plate, also sloppy)

For Greek food this is where to go. The food here is excellent, I drive 40mins just to go here, and I pop in at least once a week. The prices are fair and the food so filling. I would be surprised if you finish your dish. I would rather go to this fast food greek restaurant than any others in town. The food here is better, quicker and cheaper… ahhh a pertfect trifecta… jimmy the greek = jimmy the great. I told my friends about it here and they too now make the trip for the food… seriously nothing negatice to say

As I’ve said before, don’t expect restaurant quality food from a mall food court. Jimmy The Greek is a decent Greek fast food place, but nothing to write home about. The last time I was there I had their Greek salad and a pop which was totally satisfying. The donairs and pitas didn’t look too appealing to me hence the salad. The service was OK but again you can’t expect to be waited on and catered to when you’re at the mall. It’s decent food but make sure you take some gum or mints with you as they use a lot of garlic — go figure.

I went into Kingsway mall yesterday and was truly craving some Greek food. I was disappointed when I couldn’t find my favourite Greek fast food joint Opa, but I noticed a place called«Jimmy the Greek» and figured, it would probably be the same. It was not. I ordered the chicken souvlaki pita and I regretted it once I watched the guy pick up a oil soaked chicken skewer and place it in the pita. After sitting down and biting into the pita, I was immediately disappointed. The pita was super dry and a little toasty. Good souvlaki pitas should be so moist that you barely notice it there. The chicken, despite being soaked in oil was dry as a bone and my one small can of diet coke was barely enough to wash down the dryness in my throat. I will not be going back here. Next time I get the Greek craving at Kingsway, I will suck it up and eat something else.
