Mac’s Convenience Stores

Mac’s is always open, which is great. Being in a centralized location, they carry nearly everything that you may need in a pinch, or in the middle of the night.

Open 24 hours (even over the Christmas season), Mac’s is a convenient (haha!) store for grocery basics, your candy fix, or a magazine.
Most items are pricier here than a typical grocery store, but with its location right on 87^th ave, it’s closer to the university than most other grocery stores, too. It usually has most of the basics I need — milk, bread eggs, cereal, and even bananas and things like baking powder.
A small selection of frozen dinners, too, if you really don’t feel like cooking, and some ready-​made subs (although I can’t say how long they’ve been in the cooler).
Staff are pretty friendly and knowledgeable about what’s in stock. The debit machine breaks sometimes, but they do have an ATM on site.
