This orthodontic clinic goes above and beyond to create a pleasant experience. They are always happy and positive, and do not just provide services but educate you on orthodontic treatment. I would recommend Dr. K and his staff to anyone. I had lingual braces and I am professional performer and no one has ever noticed I had braces. If you are looking for a clinic that provides outstanding patient care this is the one.

Misleading advertisment on their online website. Huge price differences in quotes when you say you have extended health benefits. Long waits for consultations. Its september but they are booking into january…
Mmmm. I hate businesses that misleading you and after one visit I was dooped. Found the place while searching online for orthodentists in the north side. Checked online and it said the consults were on them. It was easy leaving a message online to book a consult. They called me in on the next business day. They said they were booking about 5 months unless I could come in tmmw. So luckily I moved some plans and made it in.
Its nice and clean inside. Reception greets you and you sign your paperwork. They start off with a tour and give you a free water bottle for coming in. They then take xrays and photos. Which were quite painful bc they use these metal apparatuses which really hurt. Pictures take 5 – 10 minutes. After that they seat you in the office and discuss health coverage. Luckily I have pretty decent coverage so I was expecting for my braces to be fully covered. In the dental chair dr knoefel was nice but a bit pushy about how this and that was wrong with my teeth. Personally my smile is 80% straight just a few crooked bottom teeth. But he tried to point out issues with my straight teeth too. I didnt see it but he was adament it needed to be fixed. Overall the quote was way over than I thought. $ 8500 in fact! I even had a quote 10 years ago at this exact office for $ 4000 less but I didnt have two coverage plans.
This was completly unexpected since my teeth are pretty damn straight and I would only need braces for less than a year. I personally think this place saw me as a dollar sign when I had 2 coverages and quoted me a huge amount to cash in. Leaving discouraged. I left being more unhappy with my teeth bc the doc pushed about things that were wrong that I just could not see.
I went somewhere else and was quoted $ 4000 less. Thats a huge difference. So minus 4 stars for such a drastic difference in quotes between two offices.
And to top it off my complimentary consult costed me $ 150!!! The staff were shown the online site claiming it was on them. And they went ahead and billed me and could not even offer a complimentary consult for son. Misleading… Expensive…mmmm 2 things I hate businesses that sugar coat the visit with free juices and coffees.
Not impressed.
