It really is a brilliant marketing gimmick. It costs me some money to get an «exam and my estimate for braces», thus ensuring I am not going to go to to many places for pricing. They make you wait forever to «get In’, making it seem like the place to go. It was a horrible experience. It feels like they spent lots of money on perfecting their pitch. Sad really, my kid needed braces, that was obvious. Piece of advice, just be real, and genuine, and don’t try to «blow smoke up my wuha. I don’t need video games and such expensive gadget to make me comfortable. A good table where I could put my coffee from you very expensive machine would be nice. The feeling is you don’t want me to get a coffee and sit. And that music, wow, I can’t even read it was so «different». I had to leave. Why or why can’t I just get braces for my kid? Free coffee and Wii,? Who is kidding whom? Bonus points for free gifts? Haha! Thanks but no thanks Signature, I’ll save a grand and get my braces at a regular place, and pick up a Starbucks on my way. Check out White Oaks or Londenderry. Shop around people. I’ll choose my own perks for me and my child. Saving a thousand dollars can buy many perks. While seated in the waiting room, one lady was 10 minutes late and her appointment was cancelled, and another had to beg for dental floss threaders, sorry not included. But I can sell you a box for… wow! Signature, moms talk… sorry, dads do too! The admin staff are very nice, and the dental assistants we met were very personable. It mostly felt like a put on act. hmm, I wonder if they get a percentage of the costs if one of us signs up? Oh, they probably have their own bonus reward system.

Friendly staff. Hard to book appointments as this place is busy. Clean space. I looked around for consults for braces and my dentist referred me here. In the northside of edmonton this clinic is esteemed for having rather reasonable prices. They have a pretty good online website that really is informative and has an easy contact us form to book consults rather easily. I filled it out and got a phone call within a week. When I was booking a consult they have a rather long waiting list. About 4 – 6 months for a wait. Appointments times are rather inconveinent for this reason. They dont really have options for times just one or two openings bc they only do consults on certain days. They send you text messages and emails to remind you of your appointments which is quite handy and better received than snail mail. I didnt like how they just give you times for appointments rather than give you options. I found they just give you times and thats it. Even though they dont really work they expect you to work around their schedule. So minus a star for rather highly inconveinent appointment times. Once your paperwork is filled out they do a full consult on you complete with pictures xrays and an examination. They give you a rough estimate but dont give you a fixed price until you are ready for treatment. I found the staff super friendly, happy and cheerful. On my first appointment day I was a tad late. 10 minutes to be exact. and they completly cancelled my appointment. They book there appointments solid and have almost no leway for being late. Sometimes things happen and this is not the most conveinent considering that its so difficult to make appointments. They did in fact squeeze me in but gave me attitude about being late and were rather snarky about it. When they took me in they actually mistook me for someone else and actually started going over my benefit plans but they were looking at the wrong file. The girl commented that she was sure that paperwork was all sent off to my benefits and that sunlife had received them. I mentioned that I did not ever had sunlife and actually recieived a letter from sunlife stating to submit the claim to the CORRECT carrier. She looked at me like I was wrong and had no idea what I was talking about and insisted that they had the correct information. When I gave her my benefit card she realized that she was looking at the wrong file completly and had mistaken me as someone else. They did in fact also screw up sending the quote to manulife three weeks prior and I asked them to send it off again. She then gave me excuses saying that the quote was just put in the wrong pile and that I would definetly get paid if I started treatment. I found it rather pushy. So minus a star. There are some pros to this place. They have free coffee and hot chocolate in the waiting room. A games room for the kids while they wait and plenty of magazines. Also theres lots of seating while you wait. In the waiting room or even beside the chairs. Overall its an okay establishment. The little perks are nice like their membership card which gives you points for gift cards. Or how they have little customer appreaciation events like free waterpark tickets or free movies at cineplex every so often. Make sure you sign up for thier email list. bc I have friends that are not on this list and never know about these events that fill up rather quickly! Overall the prices are pretty good. Alot cheaper than other orthodontists. And i think thats why its super busy. If they were a tad more accomadating for appointment times it would be a four or five star establishment! But i found all 4 appointments i have made were at the businesses conveinence and none at all at mine. The upside is that getting braces here gives you rewards like free gift cards. Theres a reward program. Where they give you points for being on time. For having no cavities. For brushing your teeth before your appointment. Etc. After 3 appointments we had a free $ 20 best buy card. Also the free erks like movies and waterpark tickets every few months is also pretty sweet. And dont forget to sign up for their monthly draws. They draw every two months for tickets like lion king broadway tickets or a $ 150 gift certificate. These perks offload the huge prices you pay for orthodontic work but also make getting braces fun for the kids and promotes healthy dental habits. I wish all dentists did these programs. For a little extra cost. Its totally worth it! So for this awesome idea i had to add a star. I dont regret coming here. Although they are a business and are a tad pushy in the beginning to get you to sign the contracts.

It’s got a large waiting area current magazines a free coffee/latte machine & video games. Apparently we pay them well! The space is really fresh and modern with loads of seating, so even when it’s busy there’s a place to sit without feeling like your on top of another patient. They have a fingerprint check in system which I could see how some kids would find really cool, plus they have a draw done a few times a year with great prizes, as well as a points system for keeping up with your check in card. They tend to be really good at staying on time, there isn’t generally too long of a wait which is good for timing appointments. The last time we were there because it was summer, they had ice cream treats ! The progress in my son’s orthodontic treatment is going well, they know their stuff, so although it’s incredibly expensive, it’ll be worth it for the health and appearance of his teeth for years to come.
