Food was good, music was way too loud the group had to yell over it, they served our beer in plastic glasses. 35cent wings were good.

The wings were awful And so were the fries — tasted like they were cooked in really dirty oil… We were the only ones there and still got bad service… won’t be retuning

We visit this 02’s on a semi regular basis for the wing special. The wings are average, but it is what you should expect at .35 each. The servers are very friendly, if not that efficient. Some of them recognize us, even though we aren’t what you would call regulars, and I really appreciate that.

Went here 3 times while on business for a week in Edmonton, both on my own and with co-workers. It was hit and miss, both on service and food, but overall an OK experience. The wings need work, though. As well, they need to get to the bottom of a fly issue they are having. I’ve had better, but I’ve experienced much worse. With just some minor tweaks, this could be a 3 – 4 star establishment.

We live close by so decided to go here. Not up to expectations. The tv’s were blasting loud and the place was not that clean especially considering how few people were in there. The food was very average. There are a lot of other better options out there.

On comparing the other three locations of O2’s(Downtown, West and whyte} i would say O2’s on south is really good. Free parking spots and patio with cushion chairs, fancy tables and couches. This place is really cool. I’m a big fan of their Jerk Chicken pizza. They used carry pierogies pizza but I don’t see them any more. The waitresses are friendly and fast in service . Happy hour from 11 to 7 pm and they have wings night on 6 days a week except Fridays. Cool place !

They used to be a great place to hangout. The kind of place that after you ate, you stuck around for awhile. Something changed since I was there last. Service has gone downhill. Prices have gone up. The daily specials are gone. The friendly inviting atmosphere wasn’t there anymore. The food quality has also declined. I ordered some dry wings and they didn’t bother to toss them in the spice like you would expect. They put them in the dish and threw some spice on top. This gave some way too much and others had none. I brought this to the server’s attention and basically got a shrug.

Was in town staying in a hotel and wanted to watch the UFC. $ 10 cover charge which isn’t unusual but would prefer it didn’t exist. Got some cheap wings to go with my beer while I watched the fight at the bar. Reasonable prices and the staff were friendly enough.

I’ve been to this location a few times. Food is usually good but service isn’t great.

Overall I was disappointed with our experience tonight at O2’s. We’ve been here a couple times and have never had any issues, but tonight was not good. We were in at about 8 p.m. and it wasn’t busy. We ordered and the food took forever to come out. Not sure why, but at least it was fresh when it came out, mostly. I ordered a mushroom burger. It was not bad, except that the bun was a little past its prime. The edge of the bun was dry, not unlike a croûton. Not over-toasted, just dried out. It’s okay, because it was too big for the burger anyway, so I peeled it off. The bun’s interior was fine. The caesar salad it came with was just blah, and the romaine lettuce had a real bitter note. It wasn’t a particularly garlicky dressing either. I could have used my burger bun edges for the croutons though. We decided to order some wings along with our meal and were disappointed that they were overdone. I suppose if I’d ordered jerky wings it would have been fine. So, the food was meh. But the service? Our waitress was pleasant, and reasonably attentive, but she seemed far more interested in chatting with her friends than doing her job. From where I was sitting I could see her and another waitress routinely sitting at a table just down from ours. If there’s anything that really p*sses me off, it’s that. It’s one thing to occasionally chit chat with your friends when it’s slow, but when you’ve got tables, look after them. I really wasn’t in the mood to debate about the quality of the service or the food tonight, but I was in the mood to write.

Went with my husband to this location last night to try the wings as the wings at the Whyte location weren’t too bad. Unfortunately at this location the wings were overcooked and so dry, the lemon pepper coating didn’t stick to them. Also the chef didn’t pay any attention as to where he was putting the lemon pepper and some wings had way too much on them and others had barely anything. The medium spiced wings were also dry and overcooked with little attention to where the sauce was put. At 35 cents each we have had better wings for 9 cents a piece. We also ordered some side veggies for $ 1.50 and the ranch dip was $ 1.50. The veggies are a great deal and were very fresh and tasty. We got two huge carrot sticks, two celery sticks, three cucumber pieces, and two tomato pieces. We found the dip was overpriced — I mean a whole bottle of ranch dressing is only $ 3. After we were done, we were still hungry and thank goodness because we decided to take a chance and order the Wednesday night special — a bucket of ribs for $ 6. There are a few different BBQ sauce options and we decided to try the Jack Daniels sauce. Oh. My. Goodness!!! The ribs rocked! They rocked so much in fact that they single handedly brought this review from a 2 star to a three star. You must try them! You get enough in a bucket that if we didn’t have the wings, two buckets would’ve fed both of us. As for the service and atmosphere — both way better than the Whyte Ave location. Our waitress was courteous, fast, and attentive. The atmosphere was neater, cleaner, and temperature-wise cooler than the Whyte Ave location. Won’t be back for the wings but will head back for those tasty, juicy, fall off the bone pork ribbies!

A good chap and I decided to visit this establishment last Thursday for a post workout outing, which has become a bit of a custom of late(don’t worry– I take a thorough sink shower beforehand). We both ordered a set of wings and a set of prawns, since prawns are the Thursday special. It took almost 40 minutes for our order to arrive. The service was so slow that the name of the establishment should be changed from«O2s» to «Ice Age». I would never trust this establishment to provide me with oxygen, given that I could have used a glacier to time how long it took for our food to arrive. The clientele was also very interesting. There is a certain type of cougar that is a true rarity in the local wilderness– the type who look like they used to be in pro wrestling, but didn’t win many matches. «Rode hard and put away wet» as my wife would say. I intend to name this species the Leatherback Cougar. The only reason I gave two stars is that the chili prawns actually tasted pretty good.

Compared to the Whyte Ave location which I called a shit hole I believe this place is an improvement. I went there on a Wednesday, so it could of been a wing Wednesday or something, but it was really busy in there and the staff handled it great. I never had to wait long for any of my wings, got honey garlic, really really good by the way, and even better never had to wait long for the drink. I had to pints of Beers and 2 pounds of wings and it costed me under $ 20. This was a shocker, a good one. I will be back as I had a good time. The atmosphere was lounge like, real chill with no pressure.

The good service at O2’s is let down by seriously mangy wings. I won’t be back.

Edmonton already has such a crowded pub environment so if you’re going to get in the game you need to step it up. I always like a private parking lot, so not parking on the street was nice. Otherwise it’s your typical sports bar. We only had drinks, did not try the food, but did look over the menu and didn’t see anything new or different. We went late on a Thursday night and it wasn’t very busy. Our waitress was fine, but we didn’t have the same attention we would have if she had more tables. It’s so easy to just chill in the back when they don’t have much to do so we waited for the bill for a bit. Understandable, but still annoying. The crowd that was there was early 20’s and mostly your average sports watching males. Unlike the other pub/club phenomenon that’s sweeping Edmonton, O2’s does not have a dance floor. Really this place is fine; but there’s much better… just 5 minutes away.

O2 deserved a two-star for the majority of the visit. I popped in with a couple of friends to grab a quick bite before heading over to the Black Dog. To keep it quick, I ordered some appies. Wings and lettuce wraps. Shouldn’t take long, right? Well, an hour later, we didn’t have our food. Nor did most of the rest of the restaurant. Out came a very apologetic manager. 25% off everyone’s bills to try and make up for the wait and an attitude that suggested he was seriously remorseful about the whole situation brought this back up to a three star. New location with a new staff and the entire place getting packed all at once seemed to be the reason… just an unfortunate circumstance it seems! So, would I go back? I dunno. Service was good, food was so so(minus the hour long wait, it’d still would’ve been a three star for the food part), I don’t see much different about O2 than other competing chains. But, already all in all for a bite and a pint.

I’ll have to admit, I actually enjoy this place. The service is usually pretty hit or miss but the food is pretty decent. The décor is nice and there are a wide range of TV’s to watch the big game/event on. It’s always easy to get a booth seat as well. I’ve been on a quest to find the best buffalo chicken wrap in the city and I’ve determined that it is here at O2’s.

This was the worst experience ever! Didn’t get the menu for about 10 minutes which should have been our first clue. It wasn’t busy either. Someone FINALLY checked on us after an hour after we ordered and we still hadn’t received our food yet. It hadn’t been rung in. Don’t go there if you expect good service and any food at all.

So I guess it depends what you’re into. For a lunch with fellow managers-having a server with her snat*h hanging out wasn’t ideal. Yes, I knew that the joint wasn’t high end, and I knew it was a «sports bar», but seriously… it’s noon on a Thursday and there’s no pole. You can cover your butt cheeks et al while asking if I want fries with that. The food was tasty. Not«good» but definitely tasty. I had the prime rib sandwich which was skimpy on the meat but it was tender, cheesy and delicious. The winner of the meal thou was the kettle chips. Fresh sliced chips that were hot and fresh like Lays out of the oil. Delicious. For a game with the guys… sure, anything else… ugh…I’d say go elsewhere.
