The Greek Bakery

I love having a nice small local baker. I am a huge fan of the baklava and the banana bread

I stopped by The Greek Bakery again for no good reason except that I wanted something sweet. Again, I felt a little claustrophobic, since there were two people inside already. One of the customers was telling me that the naimo bars are really good. She said that she sleepwalks, gets these from the fridge, and eats them in her sleep! That was really funny.
When they finally left, a really nice man (part owner) took my order. I got a Spanakopita and a piece of Strawberry Shortcake. He was nice enough to warm up my Spanakopita, since I don’t have a microwave at home. I thought it was pretty good. The outside was very light and crispy. The Strawberry Shortcake is what really sold me though. It was sweet, but not too sweet. It was soft and creamy too – absolutely amazing!
This place definitely deserves four stars now, and I will be coming by here more often from now on!
