Canada’s #1 Vacation Destination For Your Dog! Our spacious camp for dogs is situated on 45 acres of beautiful, rolling country farmland located north of Toronto and just south of Barrie. Open all year round, Camp Cookstown features a brand new, fully heated/​air-​conditioned barn.

Dog Kennels are a thing of the past! At Camp Cookstown, our guests have an all-​access pass where they can play with dogs, run in the sun, nap in the shade or splash in one of our puppy pools. Our guests are free to do as they please while being carefully supervised by our Camp Counselors. At night or on a cold, rainy day our dog guests can cuddle up with their friends in our warm and cozy country barn!

Camp Cookstown gives you the freedom to board a dog for a day, a night, a weekend, or months at a time. We offer what is truly a ‘home from home for dogs’, where we treat your dogs as our own — with tender, loving care and affection!

What a journey this has been!

Who knew that we would be able to combine both of our passions: our love of music and our love of dogs?

At the age of 19 we embarked on a musical career that would take us all over the world. After enjoying international success we returned home to Canada and began a journey that would truly fulfill our heart’s desire.

Endless touring often left us in a predicament where we were unable to find a place to leave our dogs. Getting to know us means getting to know that dogs are as close to our hearts as music is to our souls.
