Adam’s Airport Inn

It’s a normal hotel, but service at the desk was terrible. The man was so rude when we were asking questions about transportation and stuff.

We stayed at Adam’s Airport Inn when we were in Ottawa visiting my dad, whose retirement home is near by. Initially, we intended to stay at Southway Inn but found the prices too high for what they offer.
Given the cost per night at Adam’s, we expected a pretty bleak place with nothing to recommend it. But we were pleasantly surprised.
On arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly helpful front desk staff. Our double room was on the 2^nd floor at the back of the building, with a nice view of residential backyards, and lots of green trees.
The room was very quiet, and quite spacious. Our double bed was comfy and the room, as well as the hotel itself was very clean. There was plenty of room to unpack our stuff — one thing I find a requirement.
There is a breakfast buffet included in the price, so we checked it out on our first morning. The room is in the basement, with no windows (a minus), but was clean. The buffet was cold style, meaning no eggs/​bacon etc. But the choice offered was quite sufficient and I was happily surprised they had crumpets (which are hard to find in my current home country of Germany.
Next time we visit my dad, we will definitely stay here again.
