Went recently over the Christmas holidays for dinner. Had the fish tacos which are a real bargain at $ 11. They were delicious! The only thing I would recommend is to serve on a bigger plate. The plate I got was so full that it was difficult to eat without food spilling into the table. Overall a great local spot.

Food was good last night there. Not great but good. The atmosphere is relaxing. The staff was worked to death. They are always under staffed there. They can’t handle a large group of fifteen at once there. The plates come out all at different times. Some people are finished before you get your meal. Even though it’s all ordered together at once. I would not recommend this place if yob have a large group of ten and up.

Decent enough pub food but the atmosphere is a touch lacking(during the day at least) certainly bodes better now that Dr. Sharp’s isn’t overshadowing it.

Nice little neighborhood gathering place. Have a performance stage and everything. Sirloin tips were yummy. Pools tables and sports stuff have a place here.

Had a coupon for this restaurant and so we gave it a try. I had the ribs and my fiancée had a special of sirloin strips. I have to say it wasn’t the best and the service was just ok.

Brewsters is a really nice spot, a convenient place to grab a quick bite or drink in an area of Bedford that badly needs it. The food is standard bar food, greasy, solid and good. Order carefully. Don’t expect the freshest salad, but do expect crispy fries. The potato skins are outstanding, and I often daydream of the smoked meat sandwich I had there once. Toasted buttery bread, cheese oozing out of the sides, the meat hot and juicy… ok, I need to stop, or I will be driving down there right now. The daily specials are worth a look too, especially on Mondays when you get your food order back as a gift card for your next visit. Friday are also an excellent deal night, as it’s buy one steak, get another for a toonie. Not bad at all. They also do special dinner nights, particularly on holidays. The staff is also sweet as pie, and very talented at their jobs. You will quickly find a favourite waiter or waitress. Just don’t take ours. There’s also a stage for musical acts, pool tables, and the bright lights of one-armed bandits in the back. There’s truly something for everyone here. I seriously want that sandwich now. Look forward to a review update sooner than later.

Well 8 months ago I posted a comment. It wasn’t great, since then the new manager Mark has worked very hard at improving things. He’s succeeded! The floor staff are fantastic and most of the behind the bar staff do a good job. To top things off they now have a new menu. I now go there on a regular basis. Maybe too often :-). Check it out if you’re in the area.

Me and a friend of mine stopped into Brewsters Friday night after work to grab a bit to eat. We were on our way to Bedford and we had a few hours to kill, so we stopped for a bit to eat and to grab a quick beer. We ordered the fish and chips. They were ok, but not great. I found them to be very ‘battery’ tasting. When I bit into the piece of fish, I found myself to be tasting more of the crunchy batter than the actual taste of fish. The fries were good and there was a big helping of them. We ordered a beer each and the total for each dinner was under $ 15.00. I would definitely go back. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The people were really nice.
