I was in need of a computer desk and chair, nothing fancy or expensive, so I went to CC Office in Burnside. They are crammed full of desks, chairs, tables, etc. The woman who attended to me was extremely helpful. She took me out back in the large storage area and made several recommendations. It took me awhile to decide what I wanted but I found both a desk and soft leather chair to suit my needs. And all for but a fraction of what it would be worth brand new. They are delivering my furniture soon and will help me carry it upstairs. Success!

This place is a one-stop shop for great used office furniture.
Located in the Burnside Industrial Park in Dartmouth, CC’s warehouse is crammed with surplus office desks, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, even refrigerators — everything you need to furnish an office. The quality varies from brand-new items to well-used old to the point of retro furniture, and the items are priced appropriately for their condition.
I found recent-model $ 1800 workstations made by Haworth in very good condition for $ 250.
Delivery and set-up in-town runs $ 50. It’s a great place to find sturdy office furnishings super-cheap. They also advertise heavily on Kijiji, but they don’t seem to have a web site.
