To use the word«jazz» in ones business title can assert a certain sense of expectancy. And during an afternoon jaunt down Hollis street, this fun lovin’ title peaked my curiosity. But to my disappointment, there really wasn’t anything jazzy about this spot. It was merely a convenience store with a few cafeteria styled tables and a sandwich bar. Deli sandwiches aren’t typically my thing, so i cannot attest to the jazz-factor of its eats. But the convenient store over café aesthetic did nothing to up my impressions. The place doesn’t seem to try to hard, but bear in mind this is just after one brief encounter. Who knows, maybe its got the underground meatball sub of the city. If you’re interested in sandwich treats and quick snacks, perhaps you’ll reflect with a little bit more enthusiasm. But please remember– bring your own jazz.
