Je Taime Eco Artistic Family Space and Cafe

This place is a combination café and kids play place. Always on the look out for new places to take the kids in the Winter, I decided to check it out soon after hearing about it. It has comfy seating and tables where parents can (try to) get some work done/​enjoy some of their excellent coffee. The main feature is a cute «treehouse» loft area where kids can relax, read books or let their imaginations run wild. Kids can also occupy themselves at a perfectly sized craft table (complete with free paper and art supplies) or build bead necklaces and bracelets.
The inside is painted in bright, warm colours and hand painted with adorable art. With their mantra of support local, build community and be ecological friendly this new business is perfect new business for this growing business movement in the North End.
If you were familiar with the old Caribbean Twist location this is the spot these guys have taken over. If there was any room for improvement it was kind of tough to find the address on their website and signage on the Gottingen Street side is non-​existent. I notified the owner of this and received a gracious reply. It would also be nice to see some food options other than sweets; I was told that this is something they planning on adding to shortly.
I look forward to writing an updated review and adding another star when they’ve settled into their new digs.
