Food is really good here, the service is great too, but it would be nice it there was a hostess

Drinks are cheap, especially during power hours. You can get a brewtender for $ 17.50. If the bar is crowded, wait times can be a little longer than usual and from what I’ve seen, the bartenders tend to not do the best job pouring draft. There are also no local beers on tap(Propeller or Garrison) which is dissapointing and why I would pick the King’s Wardroom over the Grawood based on beer selection. If you’re going to an event there at night, make sure you have two pieces of ID and a Dalhousie student ID or alumni card(King’s works too). If you aren’t a student or alumni, you’ll need a student to sign you in.

For Dalhousie students, this is one of only campus bars on campus that serves alcohol. Honestly, i’ve only ever been here when there are events. The events are awesome but why go here when there are so many other bars Downtown? Allow me to explain; the few times I’ve been here, the restaurant closes at 9pm which to me is far to early in my opinion(especially when doors for events open at that time). The food to me is all just okay, sure it’s pub food, but I’ve gone to places where pub food is delicious so this is no excuse. The service here varies from the bars to the servers; the bartenders are quick and friendly whilst the servers always seem as if they aren’t sure what they are doing… but they are a friendly bunch. Since you still have to be 19 to get in, I’d personally rather go to bars Downtown as oppose to this place. It’s all just an okay experience to me.
