First off. I LOVE sushi. I think I’ve been almost everywhere to eat sushi across hamilton but keep coming back to Atami. I find the quality of the seafood fresh and service is fast! Best choice in rolls out of any other place. Been to three August 8 locations and none were near the satisfaction that Atami gave me! Only gave it 4 stars because sometimes certain items don’t make it to the table.

The best word to describe my experience here is nightmare! We never stop waiting…
I was starving when I arrived then I feel nothing while I was waiting~~~
It’s like we spent an hour to wait but we only took half an hour to eat.
They only have one chef to make sushi, but there were couple of tables of people to wait.
Seriously, we will never visit again.
Regarding the food, eel sushi roll, em… is ok, but other stuff is just so unexpected!

Dined here a few nights ago since it was one of the best voted spots in Hamilton. This place is a solid 3.5, but definitely not a 4.
The pricing is great but the food quality is mediocre. We dined a la cart and for about $ 10 – 14 you can get a bento box packed full of food. Everything was good, but nothing we haven’t had elsewhere at similar price points. The tempura was probably the best part as it was crispy and well cooked without feeling greasy. Miso soup, salad and sushi were all average, as was the terriyaki. All in all I would come back to try the all you can eat as it is only $ 22.99 but it definitely isn’t a first choice.

Best sushi ever but OMG no one is happy working there a very cold staff. And come by and ask you if dinner is ok maybe a refill on the green tea. YA right. But the sushi is one of the best

Since I work nearby I eat here for lunch OFTEN, I only get take out but value is quite good lots of food. Very fresh. Would recommend eating here, and in fact I do and I am not a fish fan, but their teriaki lunch is GREAT.

New place, experiencing some growing pains. A few times I’ve ended up with hot rice in sushi, which is gross. But generally, pretty good.
