Yuck. Running a funeral is pretty standard business and this firm does it in a standard way. Call me old-fashioned, but what should not be standard is having the director of the funeral home service offer the grieving widow a discount on her funeral as the casket is leaving the church. Bad bad taste. I don’t know if this is standard practice for Dodsworth & Brown, their parent company Trillium, or Trillium’s parent company Arbor. Anyway, you get the drift. Avoid these chain conglomerate funeral homes and go local if you can. It pays to ask.
