Second stay at this location. This poor hotel is past its prime and it shows. The building is poorly cared for and just run down in general. There are some pretty oppressive smells in the hallways and the rooms; my bed smelled like body odor(EWW) when I checked in and everything else smells musty. I wonder if they didn’t have some flooding problems at one time, just given the amount of issues. Two of the four electric outlets in the room don’t work or are so sketchy that I don’t feel comfortable using them. The receptacle where the tv is plugged in is so loose that the plug is just barely staying in there. The receptacle where the air conditioning unit would normally plug in has a black arc residue on it, which makes me worried for fire risks. And the hair dryer port is corroded and not in very good condition at all, so I’m a little worried I’m going to be electrocuted come morning. Outward facing door doesn’t lock properly. Rear entrance door didn’t want to work but I’ve heard other people using it since so maybe it was just stuck earlier. Wifi was included but it’s been down most of the night, the network just stops showing up at all across multiple devices. Half tempted to wander to front desk and reset their router for them. Service at the front desk was very good both times I’ve been here. The last room I was in(approx 16 months ago) was much nicer than this room, so it seems a little hit or miss. That said, if you get a «miss», you’ll definitely know it. While its location is convenient, I wouldn’t come back here for a third stay.

Nice people, super convenient. Breakfast included eggs, which is always appreciated. Problem was that this is a very pet friendly hotel. Between the old dog allergens in all of the carpets and the noxious cleaning products, my wife and I both had pretty bad allergy attacks here.

I used the AAA travel book to locate this hotel. It is easy to find from the highway and has a lot of commerce around it. However, it is dirty and not well cared for. The hallway had an odd and unpleasant odor to it. The room felt dirty. The room also was missing parts of the baseboard, had a broken looking nightstand, and the door lock worked but it took some finagling(and the door required a bit of force to close it — it did not shut tight if you just let it swing closed on it’s own). I stayed long enough to find another hotel nearby and then I returned my keys to the front desk within 20 minutes of checking in. Additionally, when I returned the keys, the front desk attendant didn’t even ask why I was not staying the night — this can either be interpreted as he KNEW how unacceptable the room was, he didn’t care, or he didn’t want to the other people hanging around in the lobby to hear my complaints.
