Visited this restaurant a few times but my last visit(2÷5÷2016) made me want to make this review. I went there with my girlfriend and the restaurant was packed. With no waiting area we were forced to stand behind a table of people eating(7:05pm). With more people coming in to dine, we became like sardines in a can. This is understandable for a restaurant in the downtown area. As we proceeded to wait, we were given a table that could barely hold it’s self up(7:10pm). After waiting 15 minutes they had finally approached our table to ask us what we would like to order(7:25pm). After taking orders, it is part of the restaurant that they give their customers a salad and porridge to start as kind of like an appetizer. We finally received our appetizer and water 20 minutes after(7:45pm). As the restaurant got full I had a group of people standing directly behind me waiting to pay as their debit machines are not portable. This made for an uncomfortable experience. My girlfriend finally received her food at 8:05pm. 10 minutes after, the appetizer we actually ordered came in. 10 minutes after that my food came(8:25pm). We were finally able to eat after 1hr and 20 minutes of waiting. The food was average and the staff was very unorganized. They would have their waiters telling other waiters what to do. The only thing I appreciate about this restaurant is that they are open late. But than again so is McDonalds drive through.

Meh. That about sums up my experience. Food is average. I ordered bimbibop, a lot of rice. Not enough flavor. I’ve had better in Toronto. My friend had the special-portions are generous and prices very reasonable. Service fast. Decent array of appetizers-I loved the dried sweet beans. Not sure if I’ll head back, would like to find place with better bimbibop

The food options here weren’t ideal, everything that looked good was extremely expensive. The service was friendly for the most part, but they were kind of annoyed with our large group size by the end of it. I think they were short staff as well because for a Thursday night, they were very slow… Restaurant is small, kind of old. Seating isn’t compatible for large groups, which we were and that was kind of annoying. Their bathrooms were also not stocked very well.

The restaurant is apparently renamed Ajio, but they haven’t bothered to take down the old sign, so whatever! The service was friendly enough, but they seemed to have no idea what they were doing! They gave us fried dumplings that we didn’t order, but we are them anyway and it wasn’t on our bill. We deserved them, though, because in our group of four, the last meal arrived about 20 minutes after the first one arrived! They apologized and said that they had taken that last order to the wrong table and so were making a new one. The good thing is that they made a new one, rather than just bringing it over to us. The food itself was pretty good. Well, the Pork Bone. Soup was delicious, but the tuna sashimi was the worst I’ve ever had! They either don’t have a sushi chef, or just happened to give us the worst cuts.

It’s ok for me. The price is not very cheap for me. But the sushi tastes good and the salmon is fresh

Always a great place to grab some makis, cheap beer and great Korean dishes. Also open very late! Also very generous with appetizers.

Restaurant was very small, short on staff. There isnt really any good parking nearby and it was a bit pricy when compared to other sushi restaurants. I dont believe it’s AYCE but the portions are so huge you wouldn’t want seconds anyways. I thing it was a bit of a long wait too, but thats probably only because i went pretty late with my friend. The food was absolutely delicious though, can never go wrong with good sushi.
