Went there last week, I was disappointed for the oyster, it was not fresh. Sashimi and roll were ok. Teriyaki was better. Overall, that wasn’t worth for $ 25

The service here is VERY slow and the food isn’t made in a sanitary way. I’ve been in the back kitchen… and let me tell you, DONT eat there. This place is borderline closes down for not meeting food and safety regulations.

On Tues Apr 28 myself and 2 friends came to have a nice dinner. We arrived at 2:50 pm, waited approx 10 minutes to be attended to. I mention the time so the establishment can check their cameras and see Im speaking the truth. Everything I say is verifiable if they simply do that. First off as we walked in the visible work station directly behind the fish tank and in full view was a mess, littered with receipts and other food related garbage. I wanted to bail then, my buddies disagreed and thought it was no big deal. Because I was buying that day and it was a business meeting I let them dictate whether we stayed or not. Most of the tables(all but a few) were littered with dirty dishes. as we walked by one table the waitress grabbed a pile of menus right off a dirty table and simply gave them to us. Food stuck to them and all. The place is nice and bright which is a good thing if the floors didn’t look like they were mopped with greasy/dirty water. I felt like I was skating it was so greasy and gross. Once we were attended to we were told that ordering for lunch would end at 3:30. we told the waitress we wanted to pay the extra and have dinner menu. We proceeded to order as such. Not one item arrived until 3:25. Then the food came out in the oddest order. We asked after eating our dinner where the seaweed salad was. We were told that«The kitchen inspector» wasn’t able to check the salad, yet after enquiring it was promptly brought to us after we were done everything else. I asked our server about ice for our pops and waters, we were told«there was no ice available» today. What the heck does that mean? My green tea never came at all. Some items we didn’t order arrived and I asked what they were. The server explained that she was new and didn’t know what the items were. So she decided to bring out a cook who clearly spoke very little English and he stood there and looked at us like we were retarded. Why would she simply not ask another server instead of creating this weird and awkward situation for patrons is beyond me. The rice was still crunchy, where was the kitchen inspector for everything else we ordered? Some items we ordered off the Dinner menu never arrived so we asked about them. A gentleman came out and explained that it wasn’t dinner time so we only got the lunch menu yet other items we ordered off the dinner menu did in fact come out. Some did some didn’t. The gentleman explained that they thought we wanted the lunch menu and we would be charged as such. Strange and very aggravating. Keep in mind it it now 4:15, we only got to order once before the«3:30» last call, No one came to make sure if we wanted to order more before 3:30. I have never just ordered one round of food at any sushi place ever. Upon completion most of the tables were still dirty. By now the staff was eating en masse some sort of prepared meal in the dining room beside us as we struggled to enjoy our meal with some basic level of attention and service from the staff. In closing this was one of the single most worst dining experiences of my life and I’ve travelled a good chunk of the world. Horrible horrible horrible. I was embarrassed to bring my friends here. This experience cost me $ 55. I’m sure I’ve left things out. Contact me if you want to verify this. 100% the truth. No exaggerating.

Decided to order a take out Bento Box with beef teriyaki and spring rolls as my sub in options. The pricing was extremely reasonable and was ready for pick up within 25 minutes. Subsequent to returning home to eat, I found the Miso soup to be delightful. This was the only plus of the entire meal. After finishing the overcooked rice, heat from frozen spring rolls and questionably pink beef, I embarked on a journey to a local hospital with a bought of food poisoning. Safe to say, I will not be returning and do not recommend take-out whatsoever.

Good sushi, prompt service, some good things like green dragon roll and sashimi are only on dinner menu but pretty good selection of sushi and non-sushi items.
