Starbucks

Too many hipsters, I think I may have caught unemployment here…

Definitely my favorite Starbucks in Hamilton. I come here all the time to study, and there does seem to be an assortment of regulars I always see here (many of them from McMaster). I love the ambiance, it has nice background music, and it’s usually not too loud. With everyone else also studying and on their laptops, you automatically feel more productive.
The service is always great, and I usually don’t get charged for soy, which saves me 70 cents (it adds up!). In terms of hours, it has the best hours amongst cafes in Hamilton since it closes at 11pm every night. It also opens early at 6am, which is perfect for your fix before work or class.
For those who are unfamiliar with Starbucks, they have free refills if you have a gold card and stay at the location. This is perfect for exam studying, when you really need those caffeine kicks.
Although Starbucks is nothing new, this is my favourite spot to spend the afternoon reviewing my textbooks!

I think this might be the only coffee shop in the area with reliable AND fast wifi. I’m pretty sure the wifi here is even faster than my internet at home. That alone makes it deserve at least 4 stars! Aside from that, the service is adequate and the coffee is… Starbucks. The seating is a bit limited though and this place is crammed with students all the time but the noise levels generally aren’t too bad. They could do with some bigger tables though. You can park in the plaza parking lot for 2 hours so it’s a very convenient spot.

I’ve only stopped here once to grab a coffee and my experience was excellent.
I tried to pay with debit however their machine didn’t work and I had no cash on me and the girl said «it’s on me». Now to me that’s customer service and Btw it was a great cup of coffee!

Always the Starbucks standard coffee level ^~~~~ warm and nice place to study or chat with friends !!!

Coffee (Bold) sucks today, last cut in the Pot !! Service was good ! Washrooms very Dirty !!

Crowded and rude staff. They did not ask if I wanted whip on my drink, but just heaped it on. Dirty tables and cold bagels too.
