I travel for work and stay at a lot of Hilton hotels. This is in my top five list now. The rooms aren’t huge but they are comfortable, nicely decorated and very clean. Let me say that again — it was soooo nice and clean! I loved the seating chair with the side table. Comfy spot to work. And having a kettle in the room was great to make tea and do work at the same time. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. I didn’t want to get up in the morning! Even the sheets felt high quality. I was very impressed. And I’ve become super particular about the cleanliness and comfort of hotels seeing as I spend so much time in them. I almost went out for dinner but decided to stay at hotel restaurant. Best choice! Had the Tuna Tataki and a half size of the Quinoa salad. Fantastic. Everything was very tasty and very fresh. The waitress was very pleasant. I also had breakfast there in the morning. It was great. I ordered off the menu, opting not to get the buffet. The only quasi complaint is that the waiter seemed a little frazzled. Either they were too busy for him to handle or maybe there was someone there from corporate checking on things. Overall I’m totally pleased with this hotel. I would only stay here if I’m in the area again.

I came here for work and this hotel was brilliant. The first person that helped me was a very lovely person named Lisa. Check in wasn’t until 3pm, but I arrived around 8am to place my luggage before I headed to my office. She checked me in right then and I was able to relax before work. I know they won’t be able to do this for me every time but I was still very impressed. The room was clean and the hotel is quite nice. Super close to downtown and the staff are all friendly. If you get room service, be prepared to add $ 2 on top of the regular menu price and gratuity is included. Everything can be charged to your room which makes it convenient. Staff is wonderful and breakfast buffet is a good average. I will make this my permanent hotel whenever I’m here, business or pleasure. Tip — I received two bottles of water for free because I am a Hhonors member.

A fine hotel and very reasonably priced. Clean, spacious rooms, good sound-proofing for light sleepers, and located in downtown Kamloops(albeit not a very interesting town). Free wifi and parking. The front desk staff, especially the young Ukrainian lady, were charming and helpful.

The mattress and pillows are incredibly comfortable and the rooms appeared quite clean. Service in the lounge was friendly, but slow, as the bartender was also waiting tables in the restaurant. There were some«quirks» that stood out and will likely cause me not to stay here again. 1) The checkin process was extremely painful. Due to a family emergency, I was meeting other members of my family from around Alberta and my aunt graciously pre-booked and pre-paid for my room. Trying to explain this was not easy and the girl at the desk could not seem to understand it. Once she finally figured it out, she needed my credit card(for incidentals) and ID. Well… that can be a problem right now as I’m going through a divorce and name change and the name on my ID does not match the name on my Credit Card. Instead of asking any further questions, or trying to figure it out on her own, she says she’ll need to get her supervisor. Who was able to solve the problem in less than 2 minutes. 2) My aunt who had checked in the day before me is in a wheel chair. But they only have one accessible room, and it only has one bed in it. Which didn’t work, so she had to struggle with the non-accessible room. 3) The parking lot. The lot attached to the hotel itself can only accommodate maybe 30 vehicles at most. The overflow lot is on the other side of the liquor store next door. But there’s no signs to that effect, and it’s far enough out of the way that you would never assume it. So I watched a dozen people stop their cars right at the door to find out where they’re supposed to park. Also… although there is only one accessible room, there are 3 accessible parking spots, which were full all weekend, so we had to drop my aunt off and park a block or two away. I feel like there was more, but it’s slipped my mind for now. If it comes back to me, I will update the review.
