Nice little bakery that is stocked with all sorts of things. They have a part of the store as a convenience store and then another part to be frozen dinners and cuts of meat. I went in there on a Sunday afternoon to check out what pastries and such are on the shelves. Perhaps it is a Sunday and so less selection than weekdays, I didn’t end up buying more than 6 S shaped butter cookies. The cookies were packaged in a cute little white box for me and I happily walked home with them. When I opened the box as I got home, 2 of the cookies fell apart. The cookies were less buttery than I imagined which is good(less heavy). The chocolate dipping was really nice and they added some almond extract to the cookies, rendering them a different taste than other bakeries. Overall, I will likely come back, but I may have to save a few pennies beforehand. Their apple pie is $ 9, which is not the most expensive I have seen and yet not the cheapest either.

Erwin’s is a better local bakery than Cooper’s; mostly because it’s closer to my house.
