The recently renovated Graffiti’s Italian cuisine is located inside the Holiday Inn & Suites Kanata on the main floor off the hotel lobby. When I checked into this hotel for the first time they informed me I qualified for a full complimentary breakfast at Graffiti’s. I was initially delighted. When I arrived to Graffiti’s the following morning I was happy to find eggs benedict on the menu priced for only $ 13CD. The eggs benedict consisted of two soft poached eggs, grilled capicola, English muffin, house made hollandaise sauce and their signature herb home fries. Eggs benedict is my favorite breakfast. I visited here two mornings and ordered the same eggs benedict because they were perfectly cooked both times. The herb home fries were also excellent. This was one of my best eggs benedict for breakfast in a long time. I recommend you stick with the local Canadian bacon, which is what I did both times rather than ham. The service here was also top rated. I look forward to returning next year. I would rate this place 3.5 stars. Next time I will have some lunch or dinner at Graffiti’s.

A nice bar in a decent hotel that is convenient to food and entertainment. This is just a review of the restaurant, however. For the bar, a solid 4 stars for ambiance, selection, and service. For the restaurant, meh. We had a large group and they were kind about accommodating us all. They clearly did not have enough servers for the number of people we slammed them with, but they were nice(cuz Canada) and helpful. Now for the food. I had chicken parmesan and it was just NOT good. Thick, fried crust, not entirely hot through, and dry as a bone. Even just pouring more sauce would have improved it. The asparagus underneath was pretty good and the bread was buttery and garlicky but based on the reactions of my friends who had spaghetti and meatballs and the ribs, there was nothing here that stood out. I think their breakfast was probably much better but we didn’t try that. One of my co-workers had to leave the table because they sat us right by the kitchen and had evidently pulled out some very very very stinky fish right before they brought the food and it made her gag. Yeah, it was bad. At least that wasn’t on our menu.

Went for breakfast with my boyfriend, got drinks right away! We both ordered the classic breakfast, took less than 15 minutes for our food. He was able to substitute meat for fruit which is great because he’s a vegetarian. The jam preserve that came with the breakfast was delicious. Great price for a great meal!

I had one of their pizza specials last night and it was generous portions and very very delicious!!! the restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, & dinner, and all three meals offer great service and very delicious food. the music is usually one of the jazz stations from satellite TV with 4TV’s on the bar. There is adequate seating and the food is cooked in the open in the back corner. I highly recommend!

We had supper at Graffiti’s tonight, which is in our hotel. We split an order of bruschetta. It was okay. Danny and Steve also split an order of calamari. I ordered chicken parm … I love love love chicken parm and this wasn’t great. Steve ordered spaghetti and meatballs … he said it was pretty good. I wished I’d ordered it too! Danny ordered a Sicilian pizza(pepperoni, bacon and sun-dried tomatoes) … he said it was pretty good. Jennifer was our server and took good care of us. I’d recommend the hotel but not the restaurant.
