A Tim Hortons bagel would of been more satisfying. My husband and I were hopeful this would be our new breakfast spot, nope! We will never be returning. The food was disappointing, underwhelming, and overall crap.

Decent brunch place open early. Good service. Food was good but somewhat greasy. Hard to find as it is in a large mall. Coffee was very good; they made very nice Americanos.

Food was very poor. Wanted to warn the group coming in. Between the two of us We got eggs, home fries, bacon, sausage and ham. Our meals came with toast, two wedges of watermelon, oranges and cinnamon apples(random). Bacon and ham were paper thin with a weird texture, and the sausages were rough. They were patties and just barely cooked.(My boyfriend said they tasted like what he thought wet cat food would taste like). Not good. The positives were: green onion along with the home fries. The rye toast, thin as it was, went nicely with the jam. I also appreciated the fresh fruit, though I’d give that up for them having done a better job with the basics. We were quite disappointed as we were looking forward to it.

Cons: — Arguably smaller portions(could just be me) Pros: –great service(compared to coras) — not stupid busy(coras) — Decent food –good price I’ll be eating here more often.

Good service, I came in early on a weekday so the place was only 30% full. It didn’t hurt that the hostess/waitress is very pretty. The coffee was meh, the food was even worst. Gross bacon, pre-processed sausage patties, and the thinnest slices of ham I’ve ever seen served for breakfast. No way I’ll be returning there are too many better options close by

I have known the manager that works there since the restaurant opened and he has always been really great to me. I have always had wonderful service when I have gone there and if I ever had a problem with something he would always make sure that it was fixed or he would take it off my bill and that is why I am giving his restaurant a five star because he always made sure that I was happy with my food and every time I have been there I have never seen a disappointed customer. Also if anyone has problems trying to find eggstyle you should know that it is on the left side of baton route.

Went for a breakfast date with a friend. I was seated immediately, ordered a coffee while waiting for my friend, the server said she would be back to set G up with a coffee when she arrived. It took about 10 minutes after my friend showed up for the server to come back… The menu looked great, and there were a few different options for Eggs Benedict, different sauces and additions. We both ordered different variations on the Bene, and even with all the options for the benny, the server didn’t ask us how we wanted our eggs. I had ordered the original benedict, and everything was fine, except for the type of eggs. Poached soft… I don’t know about you, but having liquidy whites in my eggs is not how I eat my eggs. Servers should never assume. I would have rathered her come back and ask how we wanted our eggs than have breakfast poorly made. Other than the slow service and egg whites, we had a nice time at breakfast, though I don’t think we’ll be going back any time soon.

You won’t be disappointed with their huge portions, but there was nothing special about this place. One complaint though. The smoked salmon on my eggs Benedict was cut too thickly and there was WAY too much holo raise sauce. It had to be brought out in a bowl and the eggs Benedict was swimming it it. Caused it to be too rich and soggy.

There is nothing special about this restaurant. We went there for breakfast and were not impressed. Average food and unfriendly waitress. Not sure if we will go there again.

Nice place for breakfast, we go there once a month or so, foods are not as consistent as we’ve like, some times stuff comes out dry, decoration was nice. We usually pay something like $ 40 for 2 plus tips for breakfast. Definitively over priced.

What a disappointment. An overpriced, dry omelet and bad coffee at a place that is supposed to specialize in breakfast. My «omelet» was actually scrambled eggs with a few things thrown in and after letting it dry out, they folded it in half. My friend said her eggs Benedict was good so that’s a plus for them. Unfortunately, we had bad service as well. One refill of weak coffee in 1.5 hours. Almost an hour for the food.

Well, it’s a Cora’s clone with a view menu additions, and a lot of deletions. It’s also walking distance from my hotel in Kanata, which was the main selling point. Eggstyles is one of the many clones of Cora’s that have emerged in recent years — gourmet breakfasts with lots of artfully cut fruit on the side. Like Cora’s, the coffee is both dreadful and expensive. At Cora’s I never seem to remember this when I go. They do have a much larger selection of Eggs Benedict variations than Cora’s, including the incredibly health-conscious Meat Lover’s, which I chose. They also offer a choice of additions to their Hollandaise sauce, including chives, dill, and… something else. It doesn’t really matter what the something else is, though, because the correct answer is «dill». The fruit was fresh and tasty, and the whole thing came on a massive platter. I was impressed by that. Overall, the meal wasn’t the best I’ve had — but my standards for Eggs Benny are pretty high when compared with places back in Nova Scotia, which seem to have it down to a science. It was still not bad. Service was very friendly and reasonably prompt, except once when a coffee refill took a while. I did appreciate not being rushed out, because I drank loads of coffee even though it wasn’t great.

I loved this place. The menu was amazing! Better than Cora’s I think. Tons of vegetarian options(and tons of meat dishes too if you’re into that). I got a mushroom and brie benedict and it was delicious. They have good value for money. You get heaps of food and they are not stingy on the main part of the meal — if you ordered an eggs benedict, that’s what you get most of. The sides are tasty too. Hash browns were really nice with spring onion and the fruit was fresh.

The wait staff is exceptionally nice. I was traveling in Ottawa and it was nice to chat with our waitress. My omelet wasn’t very good though. It had a distinctive dirty egg flavor. I think they should either add salt and pepper/cream to their egg mixture or been more careful to clean the cooking surface more regularly. I only ate a few bites and left hungry. The other items on the menu might be better and because they are so nice I don’t want to give a low rating.

I’ve been wanting a breakfast place near work for those days that I am early and this place is great. The staff was very friendly and quick. The food was excellent. And there was so much! I was full half way through my plate. They also had a freshly squeezed orange juice which was delicious. I will definitely be going back.
