We noticed the Sassafraz truck at Westfest and the Dragon Boat festival in early summer 2014. They were servinvg the most incredible waffles! At the Bluesfest a few weeks later, we saw that they were also cooking up panini sandwiches. We decided then to hire them to cater a landmark birthday party.
Well! The owner, Khalid, was incredibly helpful. We chatted back and forth about menus, and he was happy to adapt family recipes to feed a group of 50. At the appointed time, the truck rolled up and our guests were treated to a fantastic feed! Raves all around! Leftovers the next day were just as good!
I strongly recommend Khalid and his team for your next function!
