Chateau Royal Reception

We have used Château Royal for our office work Christmas party that we host for the kids for a few years and the facility is large and of good use for our needs for 50 screaming kids running around, playing Xbox and jumping like Mexican jumping beans in the bouncy castle. In the past the food I’d consider meh but this year I was quite a bit more impressed with it. Lots of healthy salad options, fresh fruit and then good selection of eggs Benedict, bacon and that junk you know you love. The facility has multiple rooms but the downside is if the place is hopping with multiple parties then you need to park halfway or mostly around the back of the building. I’d consider dropping off the wife and kids at the front then be a gentleman and park so they don’t get cold (if in winter). They do have a coat check and the restrooms appeared to be clean. Overall if you have a big banquet function this place does the job. I didn’t see any Château Royal staff other than the coat check person but what I’d recommend is welcome signs indicating the room for the designated group party. A reader board shouldn’t cost much. More attentive detail can go a long way. Or a greeter directing you to your rented room for your function.

J’ai bien aimé cette immense endroit pour salle de réception. Par contre je donne u. 3*, car pas d’ascenseur pour handicapé ou gens qui ont de la difficulté à monter les escaliers et pas de toilettes au premier étage.
Nous etions dans une salle de + ou –100 personnes au premier étage. L’immense salle à côté de nous avait au moins 1200 personnes. Dans la salle où j’étais, nous fetions un mariaga marocain. Nous avons eu des petites bouchées qui étaient excellente l’une aux autres. Le buffet préparé par le complexe aussi était excellente. Je né sais pas qui a fait la déco, mais elle etait joli aussi. Le hall d’entrée est immense et parfait pour commencer la soirée avec cocktail.
Quand on rentre, des hotesses sont là pour nous guider. Attention, le parking ce fait rare. Le vestiaire est aussi en haut et on nous donne un sac pour mettre nos bottes YEAH! La salle de bain en haut est grande et peut accueillir beaucoup de demoiselles qui ont envie d’un petit pipi ou de se poupouner. Par contre tout est en haut… Il y a une salle de bain en bas réservé pour handicapé. Attention si vous buvez, j’ai vu plusieurs personnes tomber des escaliers…

WEnt there for an engagement. Food was good, reception was nice. The only thing i would prefer is a bathroom on the main floor. besides that, nothing to really complian about.
