Herongate Mall annihilation in progress
This forsaken mall rejuvenation is well under way. The Convergys facility has been closed for a couple of years now, and that part of the mall has been bulldozed since the summer.
The Herongate Mall is being torn down and rebuilt in phases, with the final conclusion being Herongate Square at what is scheduled to be a two-​year construction project.
Things are looking up in this revitalization of the desolate Walkley Road shopping centre. Soon, the entire complex will be decimated — aside from the FoodBasics store.
A sight for sore eyes.
