Had my eyebrows, Brazilian and mani done. Totally satisfied. I recommend that place. Good prices, fast and excellent service.

Got my eyebrows done here and I must say I’m in tears from the results. I’ve spent years trying to grow them and the woman doing them at this establishment completely threaded them to practically nothing. I trusted her skills so at the time of the appointment I didn’t specify that I just wanted a cleaning. Huge mistake! A fair warning ladies and gents, always say exactly what you want or you might end up like me.

Ask them a price on the phone and they doubled it once the whole thing was done :/​I was too upset to say somethings st the time but i felt stolen for the service and time they took (2h for a mani pedi…)

Very friendly and quick service! Walked in on a Friday evening to get my eyebrows shaped and was taken right away and got my eyebrows shaped up just the way I like them for $ 5.75. Very pleased :)

Accidents happen and this place isn’t any exception. My face was quite full of fine hair and so, I decided to get only my eyebrows threaded and rest of the face waxed. Now when I go to a place this nicely reviewed, I expected them to know what they are doing. The lady who shaped my eyebrows was great. See did an immaculate job.
Unfortunately, for the waxing part, I guess the lady was tired or I don’t know what. The waxing experience was OK but the aftermath was a nightmare…
The bikini wax led to itchy discomfort because not all 100% of the hair was removed.
But the worst was the face wax particularly over the upper lips. I had all this done on Saturday and I woke up Sunday morning with a huge brown scar on my face only to realize that it was a wax burn. The scar would only go darker before it chips off. The rest of the face was all bumpy too. Not smooth even skin that I usually have.
So I ran to Jean coutu and consulted the pharmacist and she was angry seeing that and advised to never go back to this place again. These things are not to be taken lightly. It could lead to permanent scarring too.
After scaring me beyond my wits, I was given an ointment and was reassured that since I am a young healthy woman I will have a good immune system to work with this ointment so hopefully the scar would not be permanent and should go away in a week.
Monday, at work, it was a nightmare. Everyone stared at my face, enquired and looked all horrified knowing the cause and expressed fury towards the negligence. Tuesday, more stares but luckily for me, thanks to the ointment, the scar chipped off and now I only walked around with a shiny pink patch on my face.
Wednesday, Sarah, the owner of this place called and expressed all her apologies as she found out about my review here. She offered to pay for the ointment and a free service to compensate and asked me to send pictures of the scar. Since I was busy I said I will. But I guess she was too apprehensive about the impact of a negative review since she’s not used to it and messaged me again in the afternoon while I was in a meeting :/​
I texted her the pictures from Monday and then present day and informed her that pictures truly didn’t do justice. She replied again with apologies and compensations.
These are the facts.
Now my true opinion: people are nice but I can’t trust them to be skilled enough especially given the prices. I paid about $ 70 for full face and full bikini including tips. I felt awkward when Sarah simply converted the tip part of the bill into cash and asked me how much to give which lady who worked on me. They were both around so I felt uncomfortable mentioning that I wanted to give this amount to this one and this amount to that one. Tipping seemed obligatory instead of an option.
Usually I go to Dee’s salon and they are pretty cheap. They have a huge line of customers so they don’t usually pay as much attention while you’re paying unlike here.
I won’t go back simply because things make me wayy too awkward. Not worth price wise either and looking again at the people expressing overwhelming apologies makes me question if they are genuinely sorry or doing it out of fear of bad reputation.

can’t be walking around with bushy, unkept eyebrows in Montréal and this place will keep your brows on fleek!
walk ins are welcome, service is friendly, eye brows are shaped well, place is clean, and the prices are more than reasonable!
in Los Angeles we pay $ 13 for eye brow and lip compared to $ 9 here.

Very affordable for threading and waxing. Nice place. Nice people. Although i do think the prices have gone up, but by only one dollar. Satisfied :)

Great prices. Waxing was fast and efficient. Only complaint was that the Brazilian was done much better than the legs. My legs got all splotchy and red (for the first time) after waxing there so it was hard to see if they missed any spots or not. But when the red patches died down, I could see spots where chunks of hair were missed. I will be back, but only after asking the staff to be more diligent and thorough in their work.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! This is a new threading spot that has just opened in Montréal and it is not very far from the Downtown area. (About a five minute drive or 15 min walk). It is near the Port and it is so clean, professional and the people are super sweet and nice! I got my eyebrows and upper lip done for $ 10 (at another place that will not be named i was paying ¹⁴⁄₁₆ bucks depending if I wanted to leave a tip or not). This includes taxes and you don’t need an appointment to go! I am so happy that this place has opened and I found it! I will be a customer as long as they stay open! For the first time my upper lip threading did not hurt! I wish I would have asked the pretty woman what her name was, but I recommend all to go here! :)

Came here yesterday for a brazilian and full leg wax and I was pleasantly surprised. I used to go to Aveda before, but after seeing the reviews and the prices for this place I decided to give it a try. The space is nice and the girls are very friendly and polite. The girl that did my wax was called Ruchi. It was the least painful experience I have ever had with wax. She used a very nice pink wax, with the papers. I used to get it done with thick wax before and no papers and I thought it was less painful but it’s actually the opposite. Ruchi did such an amazing job, and pretty quick as well. She makes you feel really comfortable the whole time and she is also hilarious. Price for full legs + brazilian is 40 $ (tax included), while in Aveda is around 90 $. This will definitely be my new waxing place. They also do facials, manicure, pedicure, threading… which I will probably try eventually. Totally recommend this place!

I got waxing for full legs (20 $) today n this place for sure is gonna be my spot for waxing. Clean, affordable, nice and friendly people. What else can I ask for?!

My new waxing & threading spot in Montréal! I almost want to keep it a secret but I also want to make sure they stay in business forever. The prices are so excellent that it seems too good to be true, but this place is fantastic. I usually get waxed at Dr. Hauschka and they use the same fancy sensitive pink & blue wax for full body (hurts way less). And this is also the first time I’ve ever not broken out after threading. It’s super clean and friendly and professional and I’m so glad I found them. Go here and give them lots of business!
Parking around here isn’t the best, but it’s ok if you walk a few blocks.

Super nice staff, and super cheap threading! it was $ 4 for eyebrow threading, and I didn’t need an appointment. The owner is the sweetest person ever, she even offered to give me ride when I was waiting for my taxi (as she was heading out to grab lunch anyway, and where I was headed was nearby). I really like this place and I’m happy I found it.
****I have to add to this review that the pedicure I got was incredibly disappointing, if you can even call it that. I don’t think the girl had ever done French tips on her life — it was like watching a 4 year old pain mommy’s toe nails… And the result was hardly professional… my boyfriend even told me that I do a better job myself — that’s when you know.

I did my eyebrow here for 4 $ and it was PERFECT. Totally recommend it for women! The price is reaal good like I tried a lot of places and it’s not expensive at all for waxing. I did half leg and underarm and they had a great service! They are so good normally im really sensible and I can feel everything but it didn’t hurt if I compare it to other places! Wow love it ill come back with some friends forsure!

Wow!!! Mon rêve de sourcils pas cher enfin réalisé…rien à voir avec la concurrence qui offre les même services.
Et les même prix soit 4 $ pour les sourcils au fil! Et avec un service impécable. La owner est super sympathique et nous accueille très bien. Les esthéticiennes aussi. Le salon est grand, super propre. On a envie de s’assoir sur les chaisrs propres :) Aussi, ils né coupes pas les sourcils aux ciseaux.
Bref, je vous le recommande! Ils ont aussi l’épilation à la cire yeaa :)

It’s Dees downtown. Only difference: this place is nicer, cleaner and staff is amazing. Clin d’œil MTL is my new spot for waxing and threading.

Great little neighborhood salon. Clean. Friendly staff. Prices are inexpensive for threading compared to most salons. Just starred offering pedicures. I will definitely be back.

Many thanks go to Unilocal for helping me discover this little jewel. My eyebrows were in desperate need of some fixing and I came across this place. It’s a walkable distance from school and when I got there I was plesantly surprised. It was of a. nice size, clean and a friendly staff on a winter day. The girl who did me up, unfortunately I did not get her name, but was sooo gentle I didn’t think threading could be this painless. Safe to say that I’ll be coming back and at an affordable 4 $ yep my eyebrows won’t be looking horrendous.
