I’ve been a fan of Icebreaker ever since their first set of thermal wear came out. In fact my local ski shop(in Markham Ontario) replaced all their thermal undergarments with Icebreaker. They had a huge sale on «all other brands.» That’s how much people love Icebreaker! I was curious so I bought a set to try, and lo and behold I too got rid of my «all other brands.» Icebreaker has endured –40C Canadian winters, both on ski mountains and on city streets. Our winters are becoming colder by the year, thank goodness for Icebreaker. I actually sweat with Icebreaker clothing in –40C temperatures! Icebreaker works with your body heat. So it’s no miracle if you’re out for 5 minutes, but it’s the best when you’re active(walking for at least 10 minutes). But the best thing about Icebreaker is that you can sweat in it and you won’t smell. It works well with your body heat, wicks your sweat, and keeps you extremely warm. Joggers, skiers, bikers wear this all year long. Icebreaker now makes clothing for summer, cooler fall, and cold winters. This store in Montréal is very organized and welcoming. You have lots of space to browse the items. The more fashionable items are hung. Note the thermal undergarments are in the boxes in centre. You can try anything on. Their shirts are amazing for travel, I personally have two(one t-shirt and one long-sleeve) that I backpack with. I find the store’s «sales» a little confusing. All the prices seem regular to me, maybe they haven’t updated the price tags? It is free shipping for $ 49+ There are no stores in Toronto(except the newly opened but far away outlet) so I have been buying online. But if I could, I would have loved to try out the clothes in store. Some colours look vibrant online(scary teenage pinks) but in reality the colours are soft and pastel-like. There are t-shirts I didn’t want to buy because the colours are weird, but when I saw them in-person I love them. XS sell out fast both in the physical store and online. There are more XS online! Pricey, yes! But they’re worth every penny. The black t-shirt I have, the fabric looks beautiful so I dress it up with a blazer and I go to work.
