History

Established in 1999.

Charm Wedding & Evening Design first established it’s business at 3676 E Hastings St in Vancouver in 1999. Charm specialized in custom handmade wedding and prom dresses, including a flawless alteration service. They were successful at this location but Irina the designer of Charm Design always had a dream of working in New Westminster. She fur filled that dream of hers in 2009 when she moved to an upstairs location on the second floor, Since then she is now on the main street of the bridal alley in New Westminster at 776 Columbia Street.

Business Owner

The owner and design force behind Charm Wedding and Evening Design, Irina Tchikicheva, holds a Masters degree in fashion design in Russia and has extensive experience in the design field. After devoting many years behind-​the-​scenes, Irina established Charm Design in 1999 to design and sew custom-​made gowns. More recently, Irina’s talents have branched into a line of custom wedding gowns and wedding décor.
