Global Salon

I myself wouldn’t really have described this salon as «trendy», however I’ve been very happy with the service I’ve received there from Erica (mind you, I really wasn’t happy with the cut that Mary did, even though she rocks my friends hair). The prices are a little high considering the neighborhood & the «environment», however a good hairdresser that you trust is hard to find & when you do it’s worth the few extra $$!
And although I’ve never had my haircut by her, I have to say in Elaina’s defense that every time I’ve been in the salon there’s been a gentleman customer in her chair, who always seem to be happy, repeat customers.
Update
I ended up leaving Global Salon as the last time I went Erica, after getting full highlights & cut she refused to blow dry my hair (which didn’t allow me to have an idea of the final «product»). I was still charged the same amount & walked out looking like a drowned rat… haven’t returned.

I went to Global Salon on a suggestion from friend of mine. I needed a haircut by the next day as I had to participate in some photos for my job. The environment is very trendy. They have plush couches with throw pillows. Very comfy. I arrived a little early, so I was able to switch the TV to the soccer game without a single complaint from all the ladies in the room.
I sat down with Elaina, a very nice girl with a killer personality. She welcomed me to her chair and did her thing…
Which turned me into the thing…
She may have had just put a salad bowl on my dome and carved around the rim. I thought it was a good cut. She put some magic bad haircut concealer (I know it’s not a word, thank you very much!) on me and shipped me out the door as quick as I came in.
Thing is, when I got home and tried to style it, I couldn’t. it was uneven and too short in spots. Sorry Elaina. I have to speak the truth.
I’m sure she’s good for women’s hair. I was the only dude in the place…
But that was my last time. I can only afford to look like a doofus twenty two times in my life.
